Shure BLX288/PG58 Dual Wireless Vocal System - H10 Band

We bought it for a church of approximately 180 people. It is more than what we expected in terms of performance. Sound is clear and crisp. It has a great range and we will purchase more units in the near future.

We recently upgraded to the **Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Microphone System** for our church, and let me just say—this system is a *blessing*. Whether it’s the pastor delivering a heartfelt sermon, the choir belting out a hymn, or an enthusiastic parishioner giving announcements like they’re hosting the Oscars, these mics deliver crystal-clear sound every time. Range So Good, It’s Almost Miraculous With a 300-foot range, these microphones are unstoppable. I’m pretty sure our pastor could walk all the way to the parking lot and still be heard loud and clear. (He hasn’t tried yet, but give it time.) It’s perfect for when the choir director gets a little *too* animated and starts pacing like a TED Talk speaker—no more cutting out mid-“Hallelujah!” Battery Life: As Reliable as the Sunday Sunrise The 14-hour battery life is a game-changer. We can go through back-to-back services, a choir practice, and still have juice left over for Wednesday Bible study. No more awkward moments where someone’s mic dies mid-prayer, leaving the congregation to awkwardly guess if they should say "Amen" or not. Durability That’s Practically Heavenly These microphones have already survived their share of accidental drops, overly enthusiastic hand-offs, and the occasional curious toddler grabbing at them. Shure built these things to last—because if there’s one thing church sound equipment needs, it’s resilience. Sound Quality So Good, It’ll Move You The sound quality is top-notch. Every word is clear, every note rings true, and even the softest prayer sounds like it’s coming straight from the heavens. (Okay, maybe not *quite* that dramatic, but you get the idea.) Whether it’s the pastor’s deep baritone or Sister Margie’s soprano, these mics handle it all beautifully. The Only Downside? A Little TOO Fun The dual microphone setup has led to some...interesting moments. Last week, the deacon accidentally left his mic on and gave everyone a live play-by-play of his post-sermon snack situation. (“Where are those cookies?” was heard loud and clear.) Thankfully, the system is so easy to use that we’ve implemented a “mic etiquette” crash course for everyone. Final Verdict The Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Microphone System has truly elevated our church services. It’s easy to use, sounds amazing, and handles everything we throw at it—from powerful sermons to choir practice marathons. If your church is looking for a reliable wireless mic system that delivers heavenly performance (and maybe a little unintended comedy), look no further. Amen to that! 🙌🎤

It sounds great. Easy to set up but missing some pieces. I'll be returning this not worth of my money if I'm missing some pieces.

I dj and I talk a lot on the microphone. These mics are loud and very crisp and I haven’t even started tweaking any of the levels on my equipment yet. If you’re serious about having solid mics these are great. If you just want a decent mic then you can find something for a lot less money. It’s all about the quality you’re after.

Works well….good buy

Used for about 10 times in a year and a half - one microphone started to drop the connection and you can’t hear - changed battery - wire that connects the receiver to mixer - changed different channels - it’s just not transmitting sound from one microphone - did not expect that from a SHURE product after spending $550- have asked to connect with Shure tech support. Will update if they can resolve the issue by parts or service - but regardless - next time I may buy a cheaper product and replace soon enough if I have to - we spend this so we could really use it trouble free for Long!

Works perfect. you can be right in front the speakers and no feedback. I liked that is uses AA batteries so you don't have to worry about expensive batteries that are only good for one thing. Clear sound quality. Worth spending a little extra to get the system that does two mics.

Works well. The channels are easy to set and change
