Is this truly made by daiwa and is this truly made in japan? the price seems too good to be true and the wording has the typical floss of chinese merc

I have never read anything, anywhere stating otherwise. I agree that it seems to be too cheap to be any good but maybe we have just gotten used to paying too much for Seaguar?? Honestly, I keep spools of both brands in my leader bag and I have found the Daiwa to be at least as good as the Seaguar blue. But they do claim it and the Samurai fluoro are both made in Japan

Leader is durable, holds up to abrasions well. It is also pliable, ties knots easily. It seems to be invisible in the water as well, as it continues to catch fish. Great value for the price. Highly recommended!

I fish alot in salt water. Been using Seaguar Blue which is the standard to beat. Well I switched to this and get 50 yrds instead of 25 and it's every bit as tough. I use 25 and 30lb. Even though the 30 is thicker I'm still getting bites and no break offs. It's made in Japan, good stuff !
