My main interest was to alleviate an itchy scalp that was flaking as well. *Started oiling my scalp and hair shaft- in a few weeks complete remediation of my itchy scalp issue-noticed significant improvement in a couple days. Hair was manageable, shiny after first use (actually very straight as if I had used heat or chemical process). Hair grew over several months and strengthened. The benefit of improved rest noticed within first few days. Can't say it stopped my hair from turning silvery, but it brings out the silver.
