Especially if you wash your hair (not just your scalp), what do you do about the tar smell?** A: The smell doesn't bother me. I like that this shampoo doesn't try to cover it up with super-sweet-smelling gunk like so many others do. Those fragrances, I find intolerable. This just smells like... well, tar. It's a pretty clean smell in my opinion. And it rinses out pretty completely, anyway. So I would advise, just be sure to rinse thoroughly! **Q: Do I use conditioner?** A: You can use conditioner ... **Q: How does this bottle compare with the tube? both are labelled mg217 with 3% coal tar?** A: I have never seen it in a tube! This shampoo is a liquid and works well. **Q: what color is the formula??** A: The color of this shampoo is a greenish color. ## Frequently Bought Together - MG217 Psoriasis Medicated Conditioning 3% Coal Tar Shampoo 8 Fl Oz - MG217 Multi Symptom Relief 2% Coal Tar Medicated Psoriasis Ointment oz Jar, 4 Oz - MG217 Psoriasis Dead Sea Exfoliating Bar Soap - Dead Sea Salt, Mud, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E & Rose Geranium Oil for Psoriasis Skincare, 3.2oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/256292317-mg217-psoriasis-medicated-conditioning-3-coal-tar-formula-shampoo-8](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/256292317-mg217-psoriasis-medicated-conditioning-3-coal-tar-formula-shampoo-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
