I'm guessing it';s spring ping that you are hearing and it won't be able to stop that. It gave a softer feel to the bottoming out as you hit this instead. They are pretty thin so it doesn't reduce the travel distance, but I didn't feel it was significantly. I fitted them onto my Fnatic Ministreak with Cherry Silent Red switches. Went from fitting 1 to 3 to test the effect. Sound was not really impacted, but with 2 or more o-rings fitted, I started missing keystrokes.
