Is this the right knife for slicing meat for Jerky?

This knife works well for slicing up meat. It is used in meat processing facilities for not only breaking down carcasses, but for trimming meat and slicing up portions as well.

What is the manufacturer part number of this knife?

The part number is marked clearly on the side of the knife blade. Go to the very first photo on the selling page and magnify the photo as directed. To the right of the trademark name - F. Dick - you will see the number - 8 2425 26K - and below or to the right of that number you will see 10''. I noticed that this same knife is offered by at least one other seller on Amazon. In their selling page photo, part of the number was obscured, but under Product Information, it stated 824-25-26-K. Same knife and same number.
