We bought recently Steamfast SF 680 that operates under 120V Voltage (US standards) while in our country (UAE) the Voltage is 240V. By buying through Amazon.ae we've never expecting that such kind of appliance will be out of UAE standards. When we opened the pack there was no indication on the pack while we noticed that the power cable plug was US type. Therefore we applied a UK adaptor in order to plug in the circuit. However few minutes after start using the steam press a small explosion taken place by shutting down the appliance operation. By going to manual caution details we realized that the appliance sent from US without having an auto switch between 120 to 240V and eventually required Voltage Adaptor rather than simple adaptor. As a result we lost our money since the guarantee is not covering us. Very bad service from the supplier since the time of deciding to sell overseas they have to warn people about that by using labels and signs outside the pack and not to going through the small letters of the manual in order to discover that the appliance was operating out of UAE Standards. Totally unacceptable. I also consider Amazon.ae reposnsible since they are selling such kind of products

I love this iron. Easy to use and TIME SAVER! It took me 3 minutes to press the pillow sham. I used once in 4 Yrs. Now I can use it regularly and not dread ironing. New user but seems like good quality. I did my home work on YouTube and consumer reports and this one is top 10.

Perfect , works great

I studied these products for over a year until I finally ordered this one. Originally I ordered the singer model, but after a month and a half I cancelled it and ordered this one because there was one left in stock. I have to say I read most of the reviews for most of the models available. There is truth to missy of them. In my opinion though, this particular product is very satisfying for me, and had produced results I am very happy with. Being a Navy veteran, I can use an iron while tossing on rough seas, . And I own a quality iron and board. This press is so much easier to use. I starch my uniforms for my job during the wash, because I prefer a heavy starch. The steam press provides me with professional looking results. I am very happy with it. I have no regrets in buying it. There is a learning curve as in every new aspect of life, but within a few tries you will come up with the best way for you to achieve your desired results. I will be using this for years top come. Just remember it is a table top item, so don't expect a commercial size. This one is perfect size, doesn't take any longer than an iron to hear to the desired temperature, and works so quickly once you start you will be done before you know it. One of my best purchases.
