Cheap skates not worth the money
These skates are really cheap (I paid $35) and adjustable and most of the reviews here at Amazon are pretty good. So I got my son (5 yo) those skates for Christmas but was totally disappointed. Not only are all the plastic parts really cheap and misfitting, but also the wheels barely roll at all (if you give them a spin, they stop immediately). The bearings are not protected from any dirt, so get sandy very very quickly. After only 3 days, 2 bearings (non-changeable!) are already partly broken and make funny noises. I certainly didn't expect the build quality of K2 skates, which are about double the price, but given the other reviews I certainly expected at least skates which work reasonably well. I would not recommend anyone buying these skates! One positive aspect is, btw, that your child won't roll away ;-(.

These RollerBlades where a very good item and I really enjoyed them
These RollerBlades where a very good item and I really enjoyed them. They bent so you could lean forward and though the inside padding did move around it was an easy fix. They lasted a long time and when I finally did not use them anymore it was because I grew out of them. They were very adjustable and I thought that they looked very cool. They never squeaked like some other ones that I have used and out of my 4 years experience rollerblading I have never found any as good as these.

He uses inline skates, no problems. These, ...
He uses inline skates, no problems. These, the inside padded part kept sliding around & would not stay in place. We would try & tighten, but nothing helped.

OK starter skates
These skates are ok for kids who have never skated before. My kid quickly learned to how to skate with them. As soon as he became an ok skater, they became inadequate. They are comfortable, low priced, but very slow. He also had trouble turning without shuffling his feet. If you plan on skating regularly, or joining a kids inline hockey league, I would recommend spending more money. We used them for four months before upgrading.

Great skates great price
My 7 year old loves them! They seem to be nice and sturdy and well made. They are easy enough for him to put on and take off by himself. Great price. We went about 2 miles on an asphalt path last weekend and they seemed to do just fine. He wore them all weekend and said they were comfortable. Didn't seem to cause any blisters or rub spots.

Very Happy
Ordered medium size for my 7 year old niece (her favorite color is blue). She loves them. They look and feel sturdy. After a month of use it seems they should last her (the shoe size can still increase at least one more slots). My only complain are the straps:- they are designed such so that they have adjustable length to accommodate different foot size, but sometimes they do not hold at that position and had to be set every time she wears. But that doesn't make then unsafe or make these great skates of any less value. I bought them for $33, very reasonably priced.Overall very happy with the purchase.

don't like this vendor
very stupid vendor because we paid extra money for the skates because it said they would ship quickly but it's taking two weeks to come. signed, an unhappy eight-year-old
