Most only turn in one direction. Description says stationary, sometimes there wrong.** A: This is considered a Field watch. Field watches do not usually have rotating bezels. If you you need a rotating bezels, buy a diving watch. In my long life I have only one person I know that ever used a rotating bezel. He is a deep water welder. My guess is that you don't need a rotating bezels. **Q: Is the case solid stainless steel?** A: Yes **Q: Does the bezel rotate ?** A: Field watches don’t have rotating bezels…again, there’s ZERO reason to have a bezel if it DOESN’T rotate! Size is perfect and weighs very little so can hardly feel I'm wearing it. Solar powered and water resistant with day/date and 24hr clock face. Bezel is fixed but that's to be expected as this is not a divers watch but perfect for swimming. The only downside is the very stiff and uncomfortable strap... recommend changing it at others have said. The lug/strap size you need is 22mm and I would recommend a zulu/nato strap in green, navy or black (or get all colours for a fresh new look every day!)
