Great coffee!
I was so glad that I am able to purchase this coffee from Amazon. I grew up with this and my family in Europe still drinks this. I am 80 and left Europe in 1968! I am so happy with this coffee!

A great coffee but...
I’ve had Douwe Egberts at the casino in Reno and Vegas and it’s flat out amazing coffee! I buy it on Amazon and it’s good but just not the same. Either I’m buying the wrong kind or it’s just not the same quality. The Aroma Rood tastes very breakfastblend and similar to Costa coffee. This roast is still really good coffee but not quite what I was looking to have that I tried in Reno at the GSR. Ill buy a different roast of theirs to make sure I didn’t just buy the wrong one. Still a good product, you’ll be happy.

Funny flavor? Not if you're making it right!
I don't understand the negative reviews saying it's awful... I was nervous to try this because of all the negatives but.... I enjoy the flavor and the nutty after taste. I will say that if you leave it in the pot on the warmer plate for extended periods the flavor changes considerably (as with most coffees) and using a too-high temp water (burns the grind and, no lie, it SMELLS AWFUL like acrid smoke) or too-low temp (little to no aroma and flavor is weak like mud) water also alters the flavor considerably. I love that it ships fast and arrives in good shape. Happy with my continued purchases.
