Better than old time plumber's putty.

Go with the good stuff and not the cheap version for plumbing.
Excellent, don't go cheap when using it for plumbing. I bought one at the local hardware store and it was too dry to use, who knows how long it was on the shelf. Next time I'll open the lid and check it before walking out.

Must have for new sink strainers
I purchased this for our home remodel in Mexico, I have tried to find this in MX for almost 9 years, they always use clear silicone and it leaks. With this you roll it up like play dough and make about the size of a pencil, form it into place and set the strainer, guarantee it will never leak.
