What kind of applicator/tip does this bottle have? How long is it?

It is square and rigid and pivots from the down to the up position. It is less than 1/2" long-maybe only 1/4"? It is a miniature of the type of opening the Breck shampoo bottles used to have in the 1980's if you are old enough to remember.

Is this good for older sewing machines? I have a 1960 model. I am assuming it should be fine. These older ones are made to last.

I've used it on a 1900 Singer treadle machine and a 1950 featherweight and it's worked fine

What is the expiration date of the oil? I've checked other places locally, and the oil is expired at every store ( I.e. Craft and big box)

My bottle doesn't have an expiration date. My mom has a bottle from 40 years ago that she still uses on her sewing machine and it works fine. I can't see where an expiration would be of any concern.

can you use wahl clipper oil

It is probably light machine oil, like the Singer Machine oil, but I invested a couple of hundred dollars in my wife's machine, what is $6, just to be safe?

Goede olie, tuitje handig maar lekt iets.

Olie lijkt me goed, niet zo dun als wat men gewoonlijk naaimachineolie noemt, kwaliteit kan ik niet echt beoordelen. Tuitje is handig in te klappen, voor uitklappen kan je een speld gebruiken maar het lijkt niet helemaal af te dichten, flesje kan beter rechtop bewaard worden.

Great Quality!

This Singer machine oil does it's magic in keeping all my sewing machines, sergers, and other machines in great working condition. This is a universal oil that can be used for a variety of purposes. The price is great, too! I like the small spout on the bottle that can deliver the oil into the smallest of places. Some oils are too thick, but this machine oil is of high quality. I definitely recommend it! All Helpful Votes Always Appreciated. Thank you.

BETTER THAN WD-40!

My kids, my animals, and I are sensitive to the smell of WD40 and I wanted something that works great and odorless and OMG I wish I would have found this sooner!! This makes everything silent! No creaks or squeaks!! If you're having issues opening it, be sure to use a butter knife or tweezers to lift the red tip thing. It's weird but it's a small trade off! I recommend it!!
