Is this actually "Fresh Mint", not that "Peppermint" crap?

Rembrandt changed the flavor to Peppermint, it is no longer Fresh Mint.  I have tried to have AMAZON change the information on the listing but, they won't .

What is the expired date?

I don't know but I will NEVER buy it here again! The tubes I purchased had some sort of chemical reaction and blew up like a blow fish and they taste horrible since that happened. We were not even through the first tube when it happened and it happened in both!

Description says 3.5oz, but photos show 2.6oz, which is it?

It's 2.6.

Like a lot of packaged products - cereals, snacks, candy, etc. - there's been a good deal of "Content Downsizing" in the health and beauty sector, i.e. the package is the same size but with less product. This is done to maintain the same price point for the consumer vs drive them away to something cheaper.  In other words, people buy the box.  Evidently Rembrandt is doing this now as well. (I hadn't even noticed it until you asked the question and I went into the bathroom to take a look.)

That said, I still very much like the stuff, have used it forever. Further, with P&G dominating the shelves with their deep pockets paying for space - they're doubtless content downsizing as well BTW -  you can waste time and gasoline driving all over the place to discover that, as Storefront Chains consolidate and offer only what I call "The Illusion of Choice", it simply isn't to be had in any decent quantity, if at all.

Therefore, ordering it online is still your best option, content downsizing or no. So just go ahead and click on the "Buy" button and be happy.

P.S.  Pro-Tip: When you get to the point where nothing is coming out of the tube and flipping/shaking it back and forth won't help, just cut the tube in half with a pair of scissors. Reach down into the open tube with your toothbrush to scoop out what you need, the reseal the tube by slipping the tube halves together. You'll get three or four more days worth of toothpaste easy.
