Science in Sport Hydro Electrolyte Tablets, Pineapple & Mango, 8 x 20 Tabs

As they were on offer I decided just to give this flavour a go alongside 4 other flavours. It really surprised me and became my favourite one. The tablets fizzle very easily. I put them in a water bottle so I do need to break the tablet in half, but it always splits quite nicely without excess powder, which other tablets can crumble quite a bit.The taste is very refreshing, with a tiny bit of fizz, making it very easy to enjoy it. It’s great way to stay hydrated especially with this heatwave.

Only just started using these tablets but they seem good, I like the fact they are science/athlete checked with decent flavours. Also low in sugar

Great flavour , dissolves well. Had to add a bit of squash to it as it is quite salty for my liking (which is to be expected) but once you get over that, it's great!

If, like me, you have an IBD, then you will find these Hydro Electrolyte Tablets useful indeed.After reading good and bad reviews, I purchased these ahead of the dreaded bowel prep for a colonoscopy, as they produce a (relatively) clear liquid that is neither red, orange, nor purple, as per the instructions.Upon receipt of the tablets, I tried one before the dreaded day. They were fully dissolved in water in a (relatively) short period, producing fizzing. Once the mix was completely dissolved, I put the drink in the fridge, with the cap on my water bottle slightly ajar in hopes the fizzing would fade. Hours later, upon removing the bottle from the fridge, I took a sip. The taste was a little salty, but the flavour, which was pineapple and mango, was not unpleasant in the least. The concoction was easily drinkable.Now, onto prep day. By the second dose, I could feel the effects and needed to hydrate. Usually, I stick with water or a clear diluting juice, but I always feel worn out and have no energy by the time I need to take the trip to the hospital. This time, I had the electrolyte drink to hand to (hopefully!) counter this. Taking sips every now and then between the gulps of prep helped quite a bit, IMO. I didn't feel as drained as I normally would after such terrible expulsions either. I believe it made a difference.If you have to take bowel prep and want something to drink other than sugary diluting juice, this should be on your list.Since then, I have used this electrolyte drink to counter the effects of a flare. Surprisingly, it doesn't make things worse, but I do feel better than I used to when just taking in water. I was worried that the fizziness might cause issues, but keeping it in the fridge with the cap slightly ajar seems to settle the drink down and, as such, doesn't add to symptoms.If you are an IBD patient and having stomach or bowel issues and are unable to eat, or just want to rehydrate, then perhaps consider purchasing these. I'm not saying they will work for everyone - every IBD patient has different tolerances - but they worked for me. In all honesty, I really think they help me recover a little bit quicker after a terrible bout of the trots.I now keep a stock of these for my worst days, and for my next bowel prep.

Very nice sports drink particularly in the hot weather. Keeps you hydrated.

These are probably the best tasting electrolyte tablets I’ve tried so far. The Pineapple & Mango flavour is sweet, tropical, and genuinely enjoyable to drink rather than feeling like a chore.They dissolve well, don’t leave a strange aftertaste, and work really well for hydration during the day or after exercise.I’ve also found them effective for helping me feel more refreshed and properly hydrated without needing sugary sports drinks.Overall, excellent flavour and very effective hydration tablets. Would definitely buy again.

Got these to help hydrate during the nano heatwave. Mango and pineapple are delicious. Have also tried the Berry one which ate nice too. No sweet aftertaste. Just nice and refreshing
