This sewing machine works pretty good for it's size. Very lightweight, and does the job. Using it to hem clothing, mostly pants that are too long. Mighty impressive. I had to cut some cloth down near the seams but the machine was able to sew through it much easier when I did that. Nice!! now I can use it for other sewing projects I might want to do as I wasn't sure about the sturdiness of the machine. Proved me wrong!! Great purchase!!

This is a toy sewing machine. I bought it for a travel machine to take on vacations, I am asked by family to make repairs when I visit. It does make all the stitches it says, but the machine is plastic, lightweight not for sewing more than child crafts. The gripper teeth did not hold the fabric and when I stopped pedaling to advance the fabric the seam would go crooked. The presser foot was attached wrong or was bent or something because all 3 needles that came with the machine broke when using the zigzag stitch. I was hoping I could make the machine work and use my skills to work around the machine’s issues. But after the 3rd needle broke I was so frustrated because there is no way the machine could do anything except simple seams that came out crooked anyway.This was priced at more than the machines that were advertised as toys so I thought it was better but it’s not. I would buy this as a toy machine for my daughter if it was priced the same as other toy machines.

This product is good for beginner seamstress’ or maybe even kids learning to sew but definitely not for advanced people. Pretty sturdy so good for a gift to a kid (10+) or first time seamstress.

My 17 year old daughter loves this sewing machine, especially because it is portable and easy to use. She wanted one of her own for years now. She has used mine a few times but mine is so advanced that she wanted something a little less imtimidating and this works out perfectly. It is perfect for the price and what all you get. Highly recommend, makes a great gift.
