This Permatex valve grinding compound has been pretty useful in my garage. i use it when working on my motorcycle engine, and it helps make the valve seat jobs much smoother. the 3 oz size is just right for small projects, and it doesn't mess up the workspace. definitely feels like a good, reliable product that gets the job done without any fuss. 😊

Works well for my hand valve grinding on some old 1600 beetle heads. Gets nice and fine after a minuit of grinding Put a bit on, spin and tap. Clean. Inspect, reapply and go till happy

Working on my motorcycle, i needed a reliable grinding compound, and this Permatex 80037 did the trick. It’s a handy 3 oz. size that lasts a good while if used carefully. It works well at smoothing valve surfaces during engine tuning, making the job smoother and quicker. Plus, it’s easy to apply and clean up. I’m glad i found this because it’s been a real time-saver during my maintenance projects 🛠️. Definitely a useful item to keep in the toolbox!

Followed the instructions I found online (removing the wheel covers, swapping the gear situation and putting it back together to reverse the rotation of the rotary mower) Sharpens nicely though I do recommend you use gloves as it does say its a carcinogen and I understand this compound is a bunch of tiny shards of metal, please protect your fingers, you only have one set of hands. I was under the impression that this was a powder that needed to be mixed with water to use (as it suggested a mouth mask and eye protection) but its already a wet paste ready to be smeared on the blade so not much risk of inhaling unless you leave it to dry out. Idk about other uses but for sharpening a rotary blade push mower (non-gas) it works perfectly
