My best purchased OBD2 reader yet
I’ve had a few obd2 readers but this one is the best I’ve owned thus far, the value you get for your money is unbeatable the design is easy to use for any one who has ever used a obd2 reader before. The speed is impeccable and very impressive it does have WiFi but I have not used it via WiFi as of yet . It seems pretty durable but I have only used it once as of this review. The whole purpose for me upgrading was to read my transmission temperature as I have a sealed transmission on my 2016 Hyundai sonata and I needed to do a drain and fill so until my next issue I am giving 5 stars for now . Definitely recommend for DIY people like my self. So wanted to update since I have finally needed to use it as my CEL has came on randomly and this is the codes it pulled in real time . Works perfectly and accurately saves me $100 for a diagnoses fee 😁 I have already bought the part needed as the motor for the actuator went bad .

This is the scanner you need!
I love this scan tool! It comes in a nice hard case and is very easy to use! It connects quickly and functions better than most scanners! The quality is better than most other scanners as well! The information is easy to understand and retrieved codes are easily researchable! Overall, a great buy for the money!

Love it! Helped me with my troublesome ABS!
***UPDATE 01/25/26*** My ABS lights have NOT returned! The scanner has also helped me with some of my friends cars. Honestly worth the money! I received this scanner back in Dec 31 2024 but waited a while for the review. I needed a good scanner that could read ABS codes since i had some and my regular OBD2 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi reader couldn't read them. I have a 2010 Tahoe that would sometimes immediately would throw the ABS light on and the shifter would lock and not let me select a gear until it eventually would, and the times it didn't lock up and switch into Drive fine, i would get the ABS light less than 3 minutes later and then always followed by the red Brake light that typically would light up if you engaged the e-brake. According to some forums i came across, i changed the ABS wheel speed sensors, the pads, and even the front calipers which were overdue anyways. But problem was still there. Long story short, decided to get this scanner taking a gamble based on other reviews mentioning that theirs didn't read ABS, but this one reads mines perfectly! My problem turned out to be the Brake switch on the brake pedal and also found the Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor on the codes, both replaced and voila! No more issues with the gear level and ABS light hasn't come on since that day! Also tested this on the following vehicles: 2008 and 2016 GMC Yukon XL and both showed Engine, ABS, and Transmission modules. 2018 Chevy Trax - same results 2013 F150 - same results 2009 GMC Acadia - same results 2005 and 2009 Nissan Altimas - same. Hope this was helpful for some of you!

Works great
Works great. Mistake on my part not to upgrade to better model. This model won't let you cycle individual things for testing

Great price, excellent features etc.
Foolishly, I wasted 29.99 on one of those Bluetooth readers that linked to your phone. When it did work, it left a lot to be desired. I have an 11 y/o Dodge which while I have an unhealthy love for her (the car, not my wife, who I do love dearly, but she snores and grunts while she eats), she has had 2 persistent issues one causing the dreaded check engine light, and another intermittent problem which disabled the restraint system. So I bought another reader. It was a bit confusing to use, and would not give me any assistance with SRS. So, I decided to cut the crap. I got this reader. It has been a godsend. It helped me to diagnose the first code. Fortunately I can still drive the car until I can afford the repair, since just clearing the code doesn't seem to fix the problem. It keeps coming back. But now I know I have a bit of time and that takes the stress off. The cool thing is the ability to scan the SRS, and troubleshoot it without setting off the airbags, which can be a problem. I don't recommend doing that. It gets messy. It led me to discover a flaky connection, which once corrected, makes me confident that in the event of a collision, the system will deploy. It also detected that the previous owner had cut the wire to seat occupant sensor rather than replace the sensor. I will be dealing with him later. But, the code reader can do many other useful features, like real time monitoring and snapshots of what your engine is up to. This is a well made, easy to read and easy to use code reader/resetter. And it comes in a good solid case, with instructions for being able to keep software up to date. It's worth it. Go ahead, purchase with confidence.

Excellent Value Scanner
This is a very easy to use and nice quality scanner. It auto detects VIN and has WiFi so easy to upgrade firmware. I used it to diagnose a bad O2 sensor on one car and throttle body in another. And that was a VW which many say usually requires something made only for VAG. It didn't detect the ABS problem on the VW but did on my Ford. It also worked well with my Honda noting a cylinder 2 misfire. I recommend this scanner to the DIYers for OBD engine issues.

I had a small and very cheap scan tool that just read check engine codes and had the ability to do some very basic live data logging. However I had my mother's 2013 Buick Enclave display a few error messages but no actual check engine light was on so the scan tool I had was basically useless. The messages my mom's car displayed for reference were AWD off, ABS light sensor, TC off, service Stabilitrac. I did some searching online and most ppl said it was most likely a wheel speed sensor issue...but I had to verify that somehow and this is where this tool came in clutch. For the price you honestly cannot beat this tool for all the options you with it. First off, it read my mom's VIN info instantly and automatically without having to update the software of this unit. Second, I was able to verify and identify the problem which indeed was a faulty wheel speed sensor using live data logging of all four wheels...it was actually really cool seeing live data like that. The menus in this scan tool are very simple to understand and the overall UX is great. The buttons are big and super clicky. The display is big and bright and easy to read. I ended up playing around with it just trying to figure out all the cool settings it had and the endless amount of data it could retrieve. This is an absolute must have scan tool for anyone who works on cars...even if you only work on your own car. You end up saving so much time and money using this tool as opposed to going to mechanic. Highly recommend this scanner....it is really a great bargain and pretty much gives you all the options you'll ever need.

Works as described. Must have
