Parker refills were always expensive when you bought them in a stationary store, but with stationary stores dying out, the Internet has become the place to buy them. Since you don't know when you order where the refills were made I decided to try the Fine Tip Schmidts. They seem to be good quality and write smoothly enough. The ink doesn't seem to have the full blackness of the original Parker Quinks, but they seem much more reliable than what Parker is now packaging. I recommend that if you have Parker style pens, give the Schmidts a try.
