So easy to install and it’s pretty sturdy

For starters, the prepunched holes are 50% useless since they are set up for a R and L bracket. In reality, all of the brackets have the same hole orientation, so you will be making your own marks half of the time. This can lead to splitting the wood if you are not careful while screwing down the bracket to the shelf. The quality in general is quite poor now. I bought BAMFOX bamboo shelves a few years ago and love them. These new ones are the problems I listed above plus shelves that are cheap and flimsy. I'm disappointed more because I blew past my return window and I am stuck with them. After all that, I will say that they do hold things up as shelves should do. Just be careful with assembly and don't expect a product that will last for any reasonable amount of time.

You have to screw the hardware brackets onto the shelves yourself, which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but the pilot holes for the second bracket on every shelf were backwards. I had to measure and figure out the placement myself. Also a hole on one of the metal brackets hadn't been punched out. The plywood is cheap, the stain is applied poorly, and they arrived to me with several chips that I had to fill in with a furniture marker. One of the shelves even had a large crack in it. They look and feel cheap. They will serve my purpose, but they are by no means a good quality product. Based on the price though, I'm not surprised.

I got two sets and both came with chips taken out them. The pilot holes to put the brackets onto the shelves did not match up. The hollow drywall plastic piece will pop through the wall when screwing in the screws. They do not have the "collar" around the end to keep them from going through the wall. If I was not in such a need for the shelves I would have returned them (plus I lost some of the hollow wall fasteners in the wall) Disappointed

We love the look of these in our home. They are definitely way smaller and thinner than I thought.

These are made out of some sort of balsa wood material that feels more like styrofoam than anything. I'm afraid to put anything more than tiny, light decor on them. Additionally, the holes were pre-drilled into the shelves in a mirrored fashion on each side, but all of the brackets were the exact same and not mirrored at all (see image). So every shelf required me to make my own holes for one of the two brackets. Beyond that, half of the holes that I should have been able to use were completely off and didn't match up to the brackets.

Not a fan of trying to install these shelves. Screws are too long, unevenly spaced from bracket to bracket. Absolutely impossible to install without an electric drill.

These shelves are pure garbage. They arrived not fully painted and the quality is cheap. We returned them the same night. I wish I could rate it zero stars.
