I bought this speaker 3-4 yrs ago because all my friends had some sort of portable speaker and frankly, I wanted to be part of the hype. I have not regretted my purchase since. This speaker has been through everything. It's been left out in the rain overnight (accident), been paddleboarding, hiking, showering, carpooling, slumber party-ing, you name it. I've played it til it's dead nearly every single time, and it still holds a charge like new. I can let it play all day and it'll last a week or two, sometimes a month if I'm using it irregularly. The only sign of wear I've noticed is the screw on the hinge of the clip peeking out a bit. However, for everything's it's been through, I find that reasonable. It doesn't effect the clip's function at all. Nothing about the product description is false. It's waterproof. It clips. It connects. It plays. It charges. It helps you survive break-ups. It grips. No seriously, it grips. It got left on the top of my car and it was still there after a mile downhill of windy mountain roads. The only thing it hasn't really been exposed to is a lot of dust. I haven't heard how riders like it, but I know a covered arena is a death sentence for most Bluetooth speakers. Can't say for sure how Clip 3 holds up against that simply because it's never been. I've had a couple of people over the years complain that it didn't have enough bass but like???? It's the size of my hand?? The bass and volume is honestly great for its size and purpose, if you want something with more oomph and kapow then you should be looking for a different product. This speaker does what it does and it does it WELL. My friends bought one around the same time and it's been just as consistent and reliable with the same treatment. I also have a friend with the Clip 5 (which I've heard addresses some customer complaints with Clip 3), and they've had a great experience as well. I haven't noticed much difference between the editions and honestly, Clip 3 is the OG for me. I can't complain, I can only love it. Clip 3 has been by my side longer than some food trucks have been open. Clip 3 has dinner on the table for me when I get home. When I fell off my longboard and chickened out of getting back on, Clip 3 was on my belt loop for the walk of shame back to my apartment. If this speaker ever dies, I'm sending it out in a boat with trophies from its battles and then lighting it on fire for a proper warrior's funeral. And then I'm dusting it off and turning it back on.

I didnt expect this product to be THIS good. Sound is fantastic, but the battery-life is logic-defying. There is also a strangely gratifying guitar-riff sound-effect when you power it on or off. Great tactile feel on the buttons too. Great product.
