Fits well into both my walking boots as well as a sports/walking shoe. It’s light, the Velcro is strong and the foam inserts (one on each side of the ankle) are comfortable. After years of rolling/spraining my ankle multiple times a year this feels solid, comfortable and has given me more confidence than any other product I’ve tried over the years ie wraps, lace up socks etc. It’s physically impossible to roll the ankle. I wear it all day at work with little to no thought about it being on. I only use it for walking so can’t attest to its comfort during running/vigorous exercise. The hinge joint gives me full range of movement. I guess the only worrisome aspect might be the heel pad which could do with a little more padding but that would impact on keeping the foot as flat as possible.
