Really good product!
These shoes are adorable! They light up well, and after getting a hand of skating, I started to zoom through hallways! Highly recommended for people who like fun and unique things

So Much Fun!
These are such fun shoes/skates! They might be a little heavy for a kid, but for an adult who likes the workout and fun, I think they’re perfect! (especially considering that full roller skates are heavy too!). I’m a teacher and have been having fun having one skate clicked out so that I can scooter/skateboard around on one foot. I was nervous that one of the lights stopped working but it just wasn’t fully charged. The lights are bright and beautiful and these would be amazing at a roller rink! Others have commented on the lack of brakes, but if you skate with only one set of wheels out, you can easily use your foot to stop. Just make sure you alternate which foot you have the wheels out on so you get balanced exercise! Make sure you check the wheels before each use because if you are using them on flat carpet, they do get hair wrapped around them similar to a vacuum cleaner. I’ve been wearing them for a week straight, and now all my students want a pair!

Pretty Fun- Better Than Expected
I've tried similar skate+shoes to these and were disappointed. Even tried one-wheel (Heal-y type) and found them too different from regular skating for me to stick with. These worked better than any I've tried- that is not to say that they don't have some major compromises though. You're trading convenience and possible covert skating for comfort and some amount of safety- but overall they work and can be some real fun with practice, depending on your level of skating prowess. The PROS:These look pretty normal, even not bad from a style point of view. The mechanism for deploying or closing the wheels works fairly easily and seems to lock adequately. The wheels, while small diameter do rotate easily on real bearings which are adjustable. The CONS:They are significantly heavier than most any shoes you'd normally wear. They might be less comfortable as shoes since the sole has to be very rigid to contain the wheels, etc.The wheel diameter must be much smaller than most skate wheels, making it more likely to get stopped by any debris. The description of how to open/close the wheels could be much clearer.I haven't had or used them for long enough to comment on their durability but they seem made ruggedly enough to last for awhile.I'd not recommend trying these- at least at first- without wearing a decent level of PPE (personal protective equipment) like pads and especially helmet. With practice you can probably try blending in as a 'normal walker' more- and surprise people with your cool moves !

Ideal for dads with little girls
The media could not be loaded. I got these for my youngest birthday party at the roller rink and they are so cool! They work well for kids birthday parties because you can rapidly switch between walking and skating. Construction is alright, I won't do any jumps in them but for basic skating they work fine. The third trip to the rink I had a wheel disintegrate but I swapped it for the extra they included and then asked the seller where to get more and to my surprise they sent me free replacement wheels. I roller skate while I grocery shop now, good customer service and a very cool functional skate shoe 😁

Turn nob away
Great for riding and the size fits nice, just make sure when you're not skating, the nob is away from the unlock position.

Neat Idea, Lots of Issues
Bought these mostly on a whim, cause I thought it might be neat to skate to chores around town, rather than walking. Unfortunately, not to be.Wheels. Too small. Even a mildly rough sidewalk is enough to halt rolling dangerously, let alone gravel on an actual road. Just trying to skate down a path was a constant exercise of "one or two feet rolling, immediately try to avoid faceplanting on concrete." Those little kid roller shoes skate cleaner and easier somehow.Shoe comfort. Not really. A bit of skating, and the back of the heels rub so bad they're difficult to wear. Stopped wearing them after several days of trying cause the heel blisters were so bad. Avoiding the skating part, and trying to walk, similar issue.Release button. Super janky. It's a neat idea, that's implemented really badly. Should have just been a twist dial, rather than some button you try to kick. Half the time they won't release properly, and they almost never retract and lock properly. Eventually had to just carry pliars around with me to pull the button out properly. P.S. Watch out for your fingers when the wheels deploy, those spring pinch flesh painfully.Positive, cause you're supposed end on a positive. They're pretty durable. If the other issues were fixed (increased diameter and wider wheels that don't get stuck, shoes that you can wear, release feature that actually releases and retracts) then the shoes would actually be fun to wear. They're not bad walking shoes, and they actually make acceptable clogs (they have close to an inch of lift on normal shoes), just need comfort improvements even for those purposes.I want to like these, it's why I bought them. They're just not ready for actual consumer use on actual streets. Maybe a skatepark (except then you might as well just buy rollerskates and put them on at the park).
