He tends to grind his teeth or chew on anything from pencils to his shirt when he gets wound up. I got it to save his teeth and shirts while we work on helping him manage his stress and it works great. Hes not a super hard chewer so this works great. My only wish it it could be nice it it had a dedicated place to hook it to a lanyard to go a round his neck. As it is the lanyard moves along the biting surface and gets in the way sometimes. All in all a great by and it has been a big help.
