Want to quickly get in some protein without the typical protein shakes or protein bars? This product may be for you! I didn’t know these existed until recently and I must say, I like the fun colors and the taste! Obviously, not real pop tart but close enough! Filling, tasty, nice packaging and gets the job done. Sorta has the same texture of those classics sprinkle sugar cookies we see but without the immediate overwhelming feeling of downing a bunch of sugar. There is a slight teeny bit of chalky taste but that diminishes after the second bite .. 8/10!

I've had 3 now. They've sat well in my stomach. They're high in protein. They don't have big nasty specs health wise. They taste pleasant. Mind you they're not delicious. They're not like a real poptart. They're sugar free, but they're pleasant enough to eat. Slightly sweet. Pair well with milk or cold drinks.

DO NOT purchase this product if you’re expecting it to be exactly like a real toaster pastry. Many say to put in the microwave but I like the taste and consistency better when not heated, straight from the package. Flavor is pretty good for a protein supplement, some flavors are literally flavorless (stick to chocolate, birthday cake and cinnamon!!). Price is high but these are pretty substantial and more filling than many protein bars IMO. Overall really happy that I discovered these, and hope to see them in more stores in the near future!

I see all these great reviews and I am really astounded that anyone would say this tastes good. I was really hoping that I would like this. Especially as expensive as it is. It is really…just….disgusting. I couldn’t even take a full bite out of it. The packing is cute and inviting. And as a bariatric patient I loved the high protein grams it includes. In theory it sounds awesome but Sweet Jesus have they really wronged me with this deception of a healthy “treat”. When you open it you are smacked with an overwhelming overpowering smell of what I can only describe as yeasty, moldy play-doh. It is not pleasant in the least. To even take a bite out of it is hard to accomplish. Some people did recommend zapping it in the microwave so I did so for 15 seconds. Did that help? Naw. Now it just smells like yeasty, moldy WARM play-doh. I honestly cannot imagine they have repeat customers. I cannot return it because they have no return policy even though all the other ones are individually wrapped. So I cannot say I am too happy about that. Just BEWARE and try this product at your own risk. I pray you have a strong stomach and a poor sense of smell if you are looking to purchase this item optimistically.

These are very good. If the were the first ones I had tried, I would be ranting and raving about how good they are. But I tried the red velvet ones first....and they are so. Much. BETTER. These are similar to the regular tasty pastry, the thinner ones, but it is just thicker and tastes like frosting in dough. The red velvet ones have a softness and fluffiness to them that is so much better textured than these are.

Quite pricey. Flavor ok but the gel seems so artificial

I have a very picky child. She is 7 years old, and she has always been picky. She's eaten the "normal" pop tarts and liked them - but we have a gluten sensitivity & allergies in our family, and those ones are also full of so much sugar! We tried some other brands that you can find in the store, either the flavors were off or they never turned out anything like the package showed - where is the frosting? These ones are delicious! I knew that I would enjoy them, because I've had some of the other flavors and I've liked them. I was worried about my picky eater... But she loves them! And I don't feel guilty giving her one of the Legendary Foods Pastries for breakfast because I know that they're not loaded up with sugar. Now if these could just show up in my grocery store so that I could buy them on a regular basis! I don't mind paying the cost - it's pretty much a comparable price to any Keto Bar / Protein Bar. And I do like shopping on Amazon. But it would still be nice to be able to buy these at the grocery store if I ever run out without notice.

These protein tarts, can hit five stars, or barely pass two. It all depends on how old they are, and I believe what sort of heat (and maybe sunlight) they have been subjected to. I've had the best consistent luck with the Birthday Cake. That has made it to almost 5 stars. Here is an example: I was loving the Blueberry until I received, a nasty, hard pastry all dried up and coagulated inside. Amazon told me to contact the manufacturer. What a difference! They were nice and sent me a ten-count box (and surprised me by also refunding the Amazon order). Wow! What a difference. They were so soft and fresh, and the center was like pudding. Though I would rather they did not add "the sugary coating" (the chemical tasting part), they were absolutely DELICIOUS. I like to buy from Amazon, but another reviewer suggested getting them from The Vitamin Shoppe (maybe GNC), or direct. With this product at this price point? I now too definitely suggest this. They are too delicate to order through Amazon. It's the difference between a 1-2 star product v. a 4-5 star product, unless you get lucky with Amazon. Try fresh ones before you give up. On Keto they're great.
