Rhyme and Discover Book

Bought it for 11 months Granddaughter. Comes with battery & works great. Lights up & sings the nursery rhyme but when you push the faces on the side, it says other things about it & there's also a part that slides back & forth on the page that make sounds that are really cute for when the baby reaches in to touch it. Better than a real book so baby doesn't rip the pages out. Yes it only sings the first verse but that's so that baby can learn to sing the rest of it. I used to do that when I read books to my kids. Let them fill in the blanks. So I'll sing the rest of the song until she learns it & then I'll let her sing it alone. Good for the childs self esteem & sense of accomplishment.

I have a severely autistic son. He is 22 years old now. He doesn't speak and eats baby food consistency food. Still we're diapers. This is his Favorite toy! We stockpile this toy because he always end up breaking his toys by throwing them when he is done with them. He Loves toddler toys! Lites, sounds and a lot of repetitive sequences. These toddler toys are the only things that makes him happy. He plays with them all day everyday.

My niece loved it great for her age

Ordered this as a Christmas present for my 3 month old nephew. Usually I order Prime but I didn’t pay attention when ordering and then realized it wouldn’t arrive until Dec 28th. I shrugged this off considering that he’s just a baby and wouldn’t know the difference yet. I was so happy though when I received my package on Dec 21, plenty of time before Christmas. I honestly have not been able to see how he likes it yet but the toy was well package, looked so cute, and worked right of the box so mommy was pleased. Will try to update my review when I find out how he’s taking to it.

My baby boy is 13 month old and playing with this book for last three months. He enjoys to play with it and I am happy to see that. But like all products or other toys this one also has good and missing points. I am describing all here to help a future buyers. I am not associated with any company and purchased this for full price. quality is really good and joints are strong enough to hold up because my son is throwing this book like a ball after finishing it up every time. It contains 7 rhymes as follows 1 Ring around the roses ( book cover rhyme) 2 Twinkle Twinkle little star 3 Mary had a little lamb 4 Little bo peep 5 Hay diddle diddle 6 Three little kitten 7 Bingo Dog There is a on/off switch has two volume choices and both options are comfortable in different places. Book also has one music note button which I still don't know what is for because it is playing random music or doing nothing sometimes. When you turn the page it starts to play the rhymes of corresponding page. Three animal faces buttons are placed on the right side of the pages. It triggers light and random sounds like animal sounds, rhymes or rhymes in animal sound. The only thing I don't like about is it is playing first two lines of rhymes. Whenever rhymes starts my son starts to look at me to sing and finish the rhyme. And because of that he is not playing alone with this. Just because of this one missing point I am looking for other musical book to buy and keeping this too.

What you see is what you get I bought this so long ago an forgot but better late then never aha and yeah there are alot of reviews already but here's another to help anyone who wants to buy this, so for a 1 year old or around that age it is easy to use and kept my kiddo busy especially the songs my kids loved them the sound can be light at times were you would want it louder an times were you want it to be quiter but it's okay still great! Sorry i had a bit of a hard time cus I had the book sitting on one of my knees an I was trying to balance it an turn the page with one hand cus my other hand was recording I just had to give my self a hard time hahah anyway I didn't use the sound cus the batterys barely died so they lasted along time! Great buy

This is a great book for babies. My little one started playing with this at around 10 months. She loved all things that sing and light up and this was an excellent way to start reading to her and letting her hear sounds and words. I could also sing her the word to the songs as well. This toy has two volume controls, which is a godsend. She enjoyed flipping the pages, playing the songs and hearing all the bonus noises from the levers on the pages. This toy is quite sturdy. It's been tossed around and still works perfectly. Just when I think she's outgrown this toy, she'll pull it out again. The songs include Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Little Bo Peep, Hey Diddle Diddle, Three Little Kittens, and B-I-N-G-O.

Someone had given me one of these as a hand me down toy for my grandson and it didn’t work, so I came to Amazon and ordered a brand new one, and I am not disappointed he sings along to the songs and the colors are bright. It actually keeps them busy for quite a while.

Good product... its fun...my son enjoy the music each time he turns the page... quality is good too.. durable
