I can JUST fit 3 plating spoons, a fish spatula and 2 tweezer tongs along with my knife (7" santoku). That pretty much filled it up. I occasionally add my diamond steel right along the spine and it fits, but just. I love that it is compact and is easy to carry and doesn't look like s suitcase. I know I overpack it sometimes, but one thing that did bug me is that the mesh can sometimes get caught in the zipper. That to me is a design flaw because it shouldn't happen, even if full.
