Versatile and reliable
I purchased this adjustable tablet stand in 2022 to enhance my tablet usage experience, particularly for reading, video calls, and streaming content. Over the past three years, it has proven to be a versatile and reliable accessory. The stand’s foldable aluminum design offers flexibility and durability, accommodating devices ranging from 4.5 to 12.9 inches. Its 360-degree rotation feature allows for easy adjustment to various viewing angles, making it suitable for different activities and environments. I’ve used it with my iPad Pro and iPhone, and it has consistently provided stable support.Pros• Versatile Compatibility: Supports a wide range of devices, including tablets and smartphones between 4.5 and 12.9 inches.• Durable Build: The aluminum construction ensures long-term durability and a premium feel.• Flexible Positioning: 360-degree rotation and adjustable joints allow for customized viewing angles.• Space-Saving Design: Foldable structure makes it easy to store and transport.• Stable Support: Provides a sturdy base for devices, minimizing wobbling during use.Cons• Clamp Limitations: The clamp may not fit thicker surfaces beyond its maximum capacity.• Adjustment Learning Curve: Initial setup and adjustments may require some trial and error to achieve the desired positioning.• Weight Consideration: While sturdy, the stand may not support heavier devices as securely when extended to its maximum length.Recommended For• Individuals seeking a versatile stand for various devices and activities.• Users who require adjustable viewing angles for comfort during extended use.• People looking for a durable and portable stand for home or travel. Not Recommended For• Users with devices heavier than the stand’s support capacity.• Individuals needing a stand for surfaces thicker than the clamp’s maximum width.• Those who prefer a fixed-position stand without the need for adjustments.

Limited articulation. Good if you don't really care. Not good if you do.
Just to be clear, I could not expect anything high quality for this price, and it's cheap enough that i don't feel the need to return it.It's as cheaply made as something as cheap as this, so par for the course as far as quality goes at this price range. You ever have an articulated desk lamp? Same quality, just with an (actually decent) mount for the tablet, it holds well. no complaints there. If you really care about quality, you know better than to go for this. Personally, I am just over the threshold for caring enough that i'm going to order a different brand, and its cheap enough that i don't really feel like having to go to ups to return it so it'll be used eventually, i guess. (You win this round, random chinese company that will surely no longer operate by its existing name within a year),Anyway, I wish this had more articulation to it. it only travels in a straight line, which wouldn't be a problem if the other joints allowed more than just a few degrees. you have to set it up directly in line of sight which if you want resting to the side while you watch tv at the same time because you are an absolute slob like me, means that you will not be able to look at this straight on.basically if you dont have the mount directly in front of or behind your head, you'll always be looking at this from the side. If there were just the slightest bit more movement in the two joints that move (horizontally?) this wouldn't be an issue. but whatever, it's cheap. i got what i paid for.UPDATEall the complaints i had are still there. Bumping it up a star bc it is cheap and gets the job done.

Perfect Solution!
This is very well built! The clamp is not cheap plastic like some I have seen. It is made from heavy gauge steel and can be clamped down HARD!My head board is padded and I was able to clamp it down through the padding and got a solid hold. The frame (arm) is made from pretty heavy gauge square, aluminum tubing. I had a desk lamp that had the same type of frame that lasted me over 20 years. (See pictures)I was floating the idea of investing in a smart TV for my bedroom, but my room is pretty small. I couldn't figure out where to put a TV where I was not going to bash my head on it if it was on the wall. My dresser drawer set is way too small for a TV.My TV provider allows streaming on devices, so this is the perfect solution! So now, I can watch TV in bed, using the Android tablet I already owned and didn't have to buy a TV or figure out where to put it. When I am finished watching TV, I can check my Email, check my texting app, etc.. Then I just swing the whole thing out of the way above my head board.I believe this product is well worth what I paid for it and I am certain it will serve me well for years to come.

It was good at first…mostly…
It was excellent at first. After about 3 months the part that adjusts the angle became so loose that it’s virtually useless now. It can’t be tilted at all, you adjust the tilt to where you need it and as soon as you let go it drops down so that the device is screen down to the floor.Another issue that I have with it is that the mount part is so large and long that it cannot be put on a headboard unless you pull the bed about 6” from the wall so I had to put the mount on in the opposite direction which has a long bolt sticking out into the headspace of the head of the bed.
