They come in a nice case, good quality, small enough to fit in the microscope carrying case, great educational value.

great quality. can def view them easily on the microscope. the container does feel a bit rough though, coz if the super tight fit, when i get the slides but good enough. I'm just scared i might scratch them while pulling them out

Bought this set to go along with a PBOX Microscope Science kits for kids microscope Beginner Microscope Kit LED 100X, 400x, and 1200x Magnification kids science toys,red as a Christmas present for my almost 8 year old niece because she had decided this year that she was much too old for "toys" and had graduated to wanting more "big girl" gifts! She took a few moments when she first unwrapped the gifts, leaving my wife and I a little concerned that we had overreached with her age, but once she wrapped her head around what she was looking at, she was all in!We had to help with the initial learning curve (for some odd reason, this 7 year old was not completely familiar w/lab equipment), but once you clear that little hurdle, the curiosity takes off! She quickly went from a little kid opening presents to inquisitive scientist, explaining to the entire family each new slide that was currently under observation.The slides are legitimate glass, have shaved off edges to minimize the opportunity of cutting oneself, and come in a sturdy wood case to protect the slides and help keep them organized.My main overall knock against the slides is that as great as it is for my niece to experience very unique specimens, they are also unique enough that her excitement becomes a bit muted as many of the specimens are not things she can readily recognize/understand (e.g. aqustio nymphaea). And frankly, even after the adults in the room admittedly looked some of these up and did our best to explain, certain slides were just so far out of the world she could relate to that they became a bit uninteresting. This AmScope PS25 Prepared Microscope Slide Set is a good value. The slides are well-prepared and labeled, easy to use, and come in a nice, sturdy, wooden storage box. They are easy to remove from and return to the box and keep clean. Very useful, and just the right size and thickness, I would definitely purchase this set of slides again; five stars from me.

These were purchased a over a year ago to pair with a new microscope. They are amazing! They are easy to use, they are labeled well so you know what you are looking at. It’s like being in a whole new world and its incredible what some common things look like under a microscope. If you are looking for a quality gift or to expand your existing slide collection, this is what you’re looking for. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

These slides are a lot of fun. My daughter loves them.

I bought these slides for my kids along with a microscope as a Christmas gift. They love the idea of the slides, and you really can see some neat things. However, I didn't give this item 5 stars because the case had broken slots inside (made of what I think is balsa wood) and thus the slides can't be stored without a danger of breaking. I would have returned them had I known the interior of the box was broken, but I didn't want to remove the packaging before my kids opened it for Christmas. I ordered the slides early, so by the time my kids opened them (a few days after Christmas) it was already too late to return them. The outside of the box wasn't damaged, just the interior.
