Valtev Folding Pocket Knife with Black Resin Handle and Quality Stainless Steel Blade, Includes a Sturdy Nylon Pouch

This blade has quickly become my daily carry blade for work. I work in an office setting so the majority of what I use it for is opening packages (we get many daily), mail, and product containers. The length and shape of this blade are perfect for this use. I've also used it for slicing/peeling fruit (after cleaning the blade of course), and for sharpening pencils. It's a handy blade, and also very handsome. I get comments on it almost every time I use it in front of someone new. And it's legal in most places (U.S.) as it's 4" or less single edged blade, non-locking (slipjoint) folder. Need a light duty work knife or even home hobby knife? You won't go wrong with this blade.

I'm kind of a fan of pocket knives. This one may becoming my favorite. It's substantial and sharp. I've only had it a few days. So take that into consideration.

I was extremely disappointed when i checked out the valtev knife. The back spring was very weak and the blade wobbled in the closed position. I expected a better product after reading reviews prior to making the purchase.

Good cheap knife. Blade wobbles. But, for a cheap knife you can lose with no emotional attachment it's great.

*Free product provided for evaluation and review.* This is a pretty knife. The black and silver case is quite striking in person. Fully open, the total length is 7.5 inches. The blade is 3.5 inches. Closed it is 4 inches. I checked my area, and it is legal in GA/TN/AL. The knife does not lock. It's a bit thin, but has a nice point, nice curve, and is quite sharp. The only writing on the blade is VALTEV. there's a shallow indent that is used to open the knife with. It comes with a nice pouch that snaps and fits on standard size belts. One issue with the knife - I take a star off for this - when closed, the base of the knife sticks out from the case at a sharp angle. If put in a pocket without the case, it could snag the pocket or pants on the way out.
