Review: Great sound, lousy remote. - Great amplifier. Pure, clean sound in a compact form factor. My only complaint is the remote. You have to be within about 6’ of the amplifier and pointed right at it for the remote to work. Very frustrating. Also, the display is very small...volume levels are easy to read, but source selections are tiny and impossible to read unless you are standing directly in front of the device. Still, these are minor annoyances. I feel I made the right choice and am very happy overall with this amplifier.
Review: Tolles Gerät - Endlich ein Amp der (fast) alles kann. Klingt über USB sehr gut (decodiert auch MQA und DSD), Installation sehr einfach. Toll ist auch, dass er jede Quelle auf Bluetooth senden kann (für Kopfhörer z.B.), das Pairing ist aber etwas tricky. Sehr kräftiger Kopfhörerverstärker. Nur das Display könnte eine Idee heller und auskunftsfreudiger sein.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will i be a able to utilize the aptx hd streaming if my phone (iphone) is not aptx compatible?**
A: no. APTX and APTX HD require both ‘ends’ to follow the same protocol. Same is true for transmit mode( your BT headphones would need to be APTX HD compatible too). Worst case is that both ends use baseline standard SBC protocol.

**Q: Does anyone use this as a preamp? I have a vintage amp and would like to have a remote and listen to headphones without turning on my Sansui.**
A: You could use the Sub Out to feed your vintage amp. Just make sure the Sub Out Filter is set to off.

**Q: Does the D 3045 allow a connected PC to record audio from analog line in?**
A: Great question..
Usually, you would connect a Pc to the D3045 using USB.
The USB input does not send audio back out to the computer so you would not be able to record from a turntable in this configuration..

**Q: Does the hdmi-arc connection control the volume natively?
(note: my tv's remote is rf and not ir so it cannot be "learned" by the 3045)**
A: Yes with HDMI ARC you can control the volume with the tv. The amp with turn on/off with the TV as well
