OFM -CHY Multiuse Table Cherry with Silver Frame, 24 by 48-Inch

I now have two of these desks and they are solid! What I like about the top of the desk is they don't scratch very easy so it virtually looks new. I got the second one about 5 years ago and it looks new. I work at it all day long at home and even though I should probably have a bigger desk, it is perfect for any computer or craft station.

Two issues:First, the table is shown in the photo with small lockable caster wheels which I specifically wanted on my tables so they can be easily moved about and reconfigured as individual tables or pushed together to form a larger group table. Instead of the castor wheels they have cheap poorly attached plastic foot pads. To me this amounts to false advertising of the features of the product- something Amazon should take much better precautions against to protect it's customers.Second issue is that of the four tables I ordered, they arrived individually packaged and two had damage on the corners of the table tops. Since it's a dark laminate (and incredibly thin laminate), the damage caused about a 1" diameter patch of the laminate to crumble off of the top exposing the light colored particle board core of the table. On one of the two tables this same damage also occurred along the center edge of the table top. Though the tables had simple plastic corner protectors on them when they arrived, they clearly are not even remotely up to the task of protecting the corner from damage. Given that these were shipped from China I have little confidence that each time I send them back for replacement, any new product shipped will have about the same 50% chance of shipping damage. I'm not going to bother. Instead, I won't ever order from this supplier again and I strongly advise against anyone else ordering from them.

Excellent quality for the price. Was originally sent a faulty part which made putting the table together impossible. However, customer service was SUPERB in rectifying the situation. They should be given credit for that.Buy with confidence
