I have been taking this bovine colostrum for a week. I take about 6 capsules a day and I also open capsules and put the powder in my mouth. So far, I notice a boost of energy and easier breathing. I really like the taste, to me it taste like a Lorna Doon Cookie. I usually have to take some MiraLax daily but since taking the bovine colostrum, I haven't had to and I'm more regular then I have been in year's. So far after a week, that's the main benefits I've had. I did order the powder, I have trouble swallowing the capsules, I hope I like it as well. Being this is a food product with no side effects, I think its a good idea to try this and see if it benefits you in more way's over time, it can't hurt you. I have read some other reviews on the Internet that were satisfied with the Symbiotics brand of Colostrum. Amazon so far had the best price on this product.

Great product for immune system

I decided to purchase this product after reading many reviews that it helps IBS, allergies, anxiety, etc. I primarily purchased it for my dogs, but I thought I would use it first to see how I felt on it. I have IBS. I've only used it about three days and have only taken two a day. So far, it has made my stomach hurt. A lot. I am wondering if it makes my stomach hurt because I also drink about 1/4 of a cup of homemade kefir milk (heavy probiotic drink) on a daily basis, so I have periodically cut kefir back in my diet. But since taking colostrum, I have noticed a bit of a difference in my bowels, so I'll continue to try it out. I just think I'll take one a day for the next month and work my way up to more if needed. I also have been giving it to my dogs and they seem to be doing fine on it. Just wish this product was liposomal delivery, because I've read that ones that are not are pretty ineffective. I'll buy colostrum again, but I doubt that I'll buy this brand. As for my dogs, I've only been giving them one a day so far, and they seem to be doing fine on it, although I don't notice a major difference in their allergies so far. I also give them about a teaspoon of kefir milk daily, so kefir is already helping their allergies considerably, but they do still have a few. I'll eventually give them one twice a day. Right now, I'd rather take it slow, because I don't want them feeling ill.
