This is the good stuff
I am always hesitant to buy a new brand online. This one was recommended by a friend and fellow artist so I took the chance and bought a tube. This has great feel. It's perfectly balanced and translucent. no chalky opaque residue. It's the good stuff. Brown color was versatile and used for both trees and backgrounds as well as accentuating skin tones. I'll definitely be back for more colors and plan to center my watercolors around this brand for the time being or until I find something even better. This one will be hard to top!

EVERYTHING GRAHAM IS GOOD
Everything they produce is first class and American made as far as I know. Whether I buy Graham, Daniel Smith, Holbein, or Maimeri Blu, my purchase is a combination of hue needed, availability, then price. I usually research new pigments at handprint.com. It will take you a minute to get around that complicated site, but once you get to the pigment section, you can read what different hues and qualities are produced by a particular manufacturer so you may choose the best for your particular work. I’m thinking right now, I am probably talking to the wall. Most people don’t even care about pigment numbers and the rest that do probably know all the info I am giving here. I guess it’s kind of like food shopping. There are label readers, then there are those that just pick up any product that is at eye level with brightly colored packages. Oh well, at least some artists are working! If you don’t care about any of this, just know you will always get a quality professional product with Graham.

M. Graham watercolor paints are fantastic.
M. Graham watercolors are the best value on the market for high-quality, artist-grade watercolor paint. They are heavily pigmented and rewet well. Ounce for ounce, these paints last much longer than any other brand I've ever tried, and they cover very well. The only caveat is that they don't work well in travel palettes since the honey content doesn't allow them to dry out enough to carry around in a bag; the colors will run and make a giant mess. They're also pretty heavy on the surfectant content, which is why they seem to 'explode' into washes. It also causes them to be much more staining than most other brands. This behavior is desirable to some people, however. Overall, easily one of the best watercolor brands available.
