Headset Adapter to connect a PC headset to a Cisco IP Phone

I wish there wasn't feedback in the background with my headset, but it does get the job done if you want to connect your pc headset to your cisco phone.

Many hours spent on conference calls with virtual teams prompted me to find a headset solution for my Cisco IP phone. As a contracted employee, I am the last to receive any such equipment purchased for distribution to staff. So, I already owned a nice quality PC headset and coupled with this adapter, I lost an aching neck and gained a free hand. When I use the connector I get static. I tried my co-worker adapter and had no problem.

I debated buy an adapter for some time since I've heard you need an amplifier. That said, this simple adapter works great and I'd recommend it to any one at my office or other location with using the Cisco 7941 phonesupdate: ~4yrs later.... still works, but has developed a strange amount of static, but that could be purely the age.

If you need a headset for a cisco phone and you have one for your PC, then this is the cable for you. The price is right and, as I said, it works as advertised. What more can you ask for? I recommend it.

Did not work with my Cisco IP Phone 7965

It's an adapter so not much really to grade out, but quality of materials is good, cord length is good, and it's works like champ. Can't ask for much more from an adapter.

Works as advertised. No need for external-power units that take up more space, as some of my colleagues use. Installs in seconds, works very well.
