Review: Family's Favorite Series - When I was in 1st grade in 1971, my teacher had a copy of these books from the 1st edition. She read them out loud to the class and I remember we all loved it. Now I am almost 58 years old and could still remember the stories. I have looked for years to purchase this series and was over the moon ecstatic when I saw that they had been republished. I have now read the series with my grandchildren and four young children I just adopted and it has been a joy to see they love the series just as much as I did when I was back in 1st grade.
