This results in enhanced attack, tone, sustain, and durability, making it a top choice for drummers seeking consistent, professional-grade sound and extended playing life. ## Description Evans improved EC2 drumheads contain Evans' exclusive and patented Sound Shaping Technology (SST). Sound Shaping Technology allows the drumheads to be fully optimized for each individual size by varying the thickness and density of the damping material, ensuring greatly improved performance and tone across the entire kit. Unlike other heads that lack SST, Evans EC2s contain the ability to balance attack and tone for each size. The result is a drumhead series fine-tuned for attack, tone, length of sustain, and ease of tuning. Packed with a more balanced and pre-EQ'd sound across the full kit, the Evans EC2 with SST will make your toms sound better than you ever thought possible. ## Features - Rock Tom Pack (10", 12", 16") drum heads are made using two plies of 7mil film - Two plies offer consistency and durability for longer playing time - Exclusive Sound Shaping Technology (SST) provides the ideal amount of dampening tailored for each individually sized drum head ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0036TGVE6 | | Best Sellers Rank | #81,444 in Toys ( See Top 100 in Toys ) #151 in Kids' Drum & Percussion Instruments | | Body Material | Acacia Wood | | Brand Name | EVANS | | Color | Clear | | Connector Type | clamp | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (1,361) | | Finish Type | Clear | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00019954964221 | | Included Components | bag | | Item Dimensions | 41.9 x 41.9 x 2.2 centimeters | | Item Weight | 1.9 Pounds | | Manufacturer | D'Addario &Co. Is it one of each size or two for both heads of a drum?** A: It's just the batter heads only. **Q: can this be had in 8,10,12?** A: Don't think it comes in a pack with the 8 ! 10,12,16. Or 12 13 16 I belive **Q: Would I need to by this twice for top and bottom heads? Sorry, I'm a new drummer.** A: No, the top β€œbeater” heads are different then the bottom resonate heads., you should not use beater heads as resonate heads unless you looking for a completely strange sounding kit; typically the resonate heads seldom need changing at all just tune them correctly and you should be good to go, usually but not always the beater and resonate heads that are shipped with a NEW kit are not the best, but as a new drummer you can beat the hell out of them as practice then change them out for some quality heads.. hope this helps **Q: Could I tune these to sound like the Toms from the openening of chop suey! By System of a Down, if I add some dampening / would I need dampening** A: Yes you could. These heads are meant for metal! Lots of punch, and durable asf! Dampening prolly on the floor tom if your by yourself. But in a band, I wouldn’t dampen anything but the bass drum. 🀘🏻 ## Frequently Bought Together - Evans Drum Heads - EC2S Clear Rock Tompack (10 inch, 12 inch, 16 inch) - Evans Drum Heads - EC2S Clear Tom Drumhead, 14 Inch - Evans EMAD2 Clear Bass Drum Head, 22” – Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping System Allows Player to Adjust Attack and Focus – 2 Foam Damping Rings for Sound Options - Versatile for All Music Genres --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/266977333-evans-ec2-tompack-clear-rock-10-inch-12-inch-16](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/266977333-evans-ec2-tompack-clear-rock-10-inch-12-inch-16) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
