Was hoping this was a quick boot that is split in half and you just lock together and glue but it was a solid boot , easy install once you cut old boot off and remove metal ties , slide boot on shaft end and up and over the housing , no boot cone needed for Jeep Grand Cherokee 96-98 . Fit great , wish it came with better bands to secure the boot ends but I managed to find a way to have them super tight and working fine .

the boot was good quality, it fit my car. the clamps were the only negative - you need a special tool to tighten them correctly. I had to improvise on that, would give 5* if the clamps were easier to tighten, maybe more like a cable tie that auto tightens as you pull it.

I had difficulties to get ir to fit right. Its very tight on the outer collar and to stay in place to hold the clamp. It took me more to install it than expected. But more important, the boot already broke in less than 8 months. It did not brake close to the clamps, but it has a hole on the ridges and spitting grease out, and the second boot split by the molding seam (manufacturing defect). It is poor rubber quality, you better go to other brands with almost similar price like REIN, GKN or Mayle, Mayle seem the best for VW / Audi, and save $$ by bringing it to the shop Twice!

Used on 2006 Corolla axle outer. Fits good. Checked after a few miles. Checks okay.

Bought this for a Windstar that had a ruptured boot. The old one came right off and this particular model is designed to fit on various sized CV joints. You simply cut the part thats larger off. Installation was easy enough, until you get to the clamps. They use a professional clamp that requires a clamp tool to utilize. I would recommend throwing them in the trash and either using the black UV resistant zip ties (larger ones) or traditional metal hose clamps. The clamps that come with it are absolutely useless if you don't have a special tool. That being said, the boot is very good. The rubber is not terribly stiff and did not appear to be cracked/dried out. I expect to get several years out of this repair.

It works well for me, I used it for a shift boot for my 1965 Alfa Romeo. It is a very inexpensive fix. Some shift boots are very stiff but this one is flexible so it doesn't pop the tranny out of gear. Works great, thanks.

This boots look great, and fit really nice on my cv joints. I won't give them the five star, cause they seem to be a little thin, to last long enough. I'll get back to this review, after 6 month of use in my suv, to confirm they still in good shape.
