Made from heavy-duty aluminum alloy and thermoplastic elastomer, it offers over one ton of strength—5 times stronger than competitors. It fits all standard doorknob heights (34"-48") and secures firmly on any floor type without damaging surfaces. Perfect for residential, commercial, and travel use, it installs easily with one hand and comes with an unlimited lifetime guarantee for lasting protection. ## Features - 1.HOME SECURITY: Weighing just over 3lbs, our door bar is made of heavy-duty aluminum alloy and durable thermoplastic elastomer. Our door stopper is more than 5x STRONGER than the leading brands. Over 1-TON of strength, independently tested by a UL registered firm and ISTA certified laboratory. Quick and easy installation on doorknob heights 34" to 48" with hinged doors that open inward. No damage to your door or floors! Great for use in homes, apartments, dorms, office and traveling! - 2.HOW IT WORKS: Simply install the security bar between the floor and the interior doorknob of any hinged door by adjusting the length of the door stopper. The unique handle rotates providing compression to hold your door securely in place for security against forced entry. Our adjustment collar allows for easy insertion of the adjustment pin and smooth travel of the inner tube. Our handle yoke allows for easy one-handed installation on any doorknob while protecting your hardware’s finish. - 3.HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT: We offer the only door security brace that can adjust to all doorknob heights in accordance with the International Building Code. Our footplate provides maximum surface contact and the highest level of adhesion with any type of floor surface including carpet, vinyl, tile, concrete, and hardwood. The rotation of the footplate is designed to provide optimum support strength angle when installed, as opposed to a ball-joint that can slip out of place due to lateral movement. - 4.ACTUAL desertcart REVIEWS: “After using similar products, I am really impressed with Secure Door. I could see and feel it was a much better product than our previous one. It was easy to set up and after several trials, it was clear the door was not going to move. I tried it on several doors in my home and the base footing was secure on a variety of flooring as well; carpet, tile, and wood! What a great item to travel with and get that extra security in hotel rooms! LOVE this security device!” - 5.BUY TODAY, RISK-FREE: We are sure you are going to love your home defense security door bar that is adjustable so you can use it at home or hotels and Airbnbs to keep your loved ones safe against forced entry! However, we do offer an Unlimited Lifetime Guarantee! If SecuraDoor ever fails to provide complete satisfaction, we will repair it or replace it, no questions asked! Never go anywhere without a heavy duty door bar to keep you and your valuables safe and protect against forced entry! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B06Y65VMVM | | Date First Available | 10 October 2017 | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Item Model Number | MHI201704-1 | | Manufacturer | SecuraDoor | | Product Dimensions | 81.28 x 15.24 x 15.24 cm; 1.45 kg | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SecuraDoor - **Colour:** Satin anodized gunmetal gray with medium gray accents - **Material:** Satin Anodized Aluminium and Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) - **Mounting type:** Floor Mount - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![SecuraDoor Heavy Duty Security Door Bar | Fully Adjustable, Universal Door Stopper Device for Home Defense | Perfect for Residential and Commercial Use to Protect Against Forced Entry - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41D7yV98RML.jpg) ![SecuraDoor Heavy Duty Security Door Bar | Fully Adjustable, Universal Door Stopper Device for Home Defense | Perfect for Residential and Commercial Use to Protect Against Forced Entry - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FBHkkT1OL.jpg) ![SecuraDoor Heavy Duty Security Door Bar | Fully Adjustable, Universal Door Stopper Device for Home Defense | Perfect for Residential and Commercial Use to Protect Against Forced Entry - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61RQ-uCF2QL.jpg) ![SecuraDoor Heavy Duty Security Door Bar | Fully Adjustable, Universal Door Stopper Device for Home Defense | Perfect for Residential and Commercial Use to Protect Against Forced Entry - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81N2f7q1iFL.jpg) ![SecuraDoor Heavy Duty Security Door Bar | Fully Adjustable, Universal Door Stopper Device for Home Defense | Perfect for Residential and Commercial Use to Protect Against Forced Entry - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71-h0oJFZCL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: easy to take off in case of fire?** A: Yes, just pull the handle and it slips off easy. **Q: made in usa?** A: I'm not sure where it's made, however I can tell you it really WORKS! There have been times when I've forgotten to remove the bar from the door, and family members with keys try to open the front door. Each time an attempt was made even with a key to open the barred front door, it was IMPOSSIBLE to push in. I don't know where it's made, but it's a GREAT product. **Q: Please provide independent lab testing indicating the brace can withstand up to 1750 pounds force. Where is this lab report?** A: Could you post or provide us a copy of this certification in this Q&A? I've used the original Buddybar and then the 2nd generation Buddybar, and their product is 9lbs to your 3 lbs. Two Buddybars can hold up a 2500lb vehicle https://www.buddybardoorjammer.com/images/Pick-up_BuddyBar-2.jpg Yours costs nearly as much as a Buddybar, you could justify that price if it performs on par with the competition. **Q: Does it work on patio doors?** A: If by "patio doors" you mean sliders, the answer is no. SecuraDoor works on in-swinging hinged doors. We are working on a great security solution for sliders but we are still months away from launching that product. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a former Anti Terrorism Security Specialist for the Military, I give this a 10/10 *by on Reviewed in the United States 1 July 2023* Hi Will here, using my wifes family account. I never write reviews, however this product exceeded my wildest expectations. I have tested every door stopper stick available on amazon and home depot and all have failed miserably. Some collapsed because the locking mechanism could be defeated by wiggling the door back and forth (The white one with lots of holes available here and home depot). Others could be defeated because the grip at the bottom was a virtual slip and slide providing zero resistance (SecurityMan)This Securadoor door stopper is exactly everything I hoped for and more. Its easy to assemble (3 parts), easy to measure and set (60 seconds), and just freaking works. I unlocked my front door and had my wife use the securadoor, which was set on tile. The only thing that would hold it back was the securadoor itself. When I tested it this thing held my weight even I pushed against it as hard as I could. I had to stop because I was concerned the door would come off the screws and hinges before this thing security bar failed. Absolutely amazing. Then I tested it in my main bedroom. There we have thick 1 inch carpet. I adjusted the securadoor bar to fit that door frame and once again my wife placed it. I was able to push in and create a half inch of wiggle room but once the securadoor engaged, that was it. That door would not budge any further, even on super thick fluffy carpet. Literally as good as it gets.If you are looking for a great security door bar, look no further than this. I literally cannot think of anything else to add or improve, that's how great this thing is. Its damn near perfect. You get what you pay for and the quality is as good as it gets. As far as I am concerned ...this is the only real security door bar in the market. Everything else is just a sad imitation that will get you killed. This amazing bar works and will stop intruders from breaking past your doors. The only problem with this is that the stick works so good now i have to replace all the screws in the door hinges as that is now the weakpoint. A great problem to have.11/10 Extremely Recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very satisfied with it *by on Reviewed in Canada 21 March 2023* Very satisfied with this product, after using it, I no longer worry about someone breaking into the room easily, it is easy to use, and it is very strong. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works *by on Reviewed in Canada 6 July 2025* I was planning to return it and initiated return already , but cancelled because I had hard time to figure out how to assemble it and I assembled it in a wrong way for almost 2weeks it was useless. After I found out that it was my mistake (wrong assembled ) I reassembled it correctly it works fantastic and then i cancelled the return , now I started to feel really secure in my house and enjoying deep sleep with out any fear and no more sleeping pills ## Frequently Bought Together - Super Heavy Duty Security Door Lock Bar Fully Adjustable Door Stopper Device for Home Defense for Residential and Commercial Use to Protect Against Forced Entry.
