In my experience, if you spray into a wet nostril, it doesn't get properly absorbed. Of course you are going to blow your nose before squirting. The trick is, afterwards, squeeze your nose with two fingers, like you were going underwater. Ahhh, that technique greatly improved absorption. It did take a few days, using it several times a day.
