11/23/2024 : At $11.99 after discount, at the time of writing, this is a great deal for a very good shock mount! I had jerry rigged another shock mount that was meant for straight mics, to friction mount the tripod of a vertical mic (the hypmic), and while it worked, it was clumsy and kept falling out. When I saw this, I instantly pulled the trigger, because it was on my long list of things that need to be fixed. And, while I was concerned about the "fitting" issue from another reviewer, I am happy to say that this shock mount fit my microphone perfectly using the including adapter, and also fit my boom arm with another adapter I was using from before. So, I have a very nicely attached microphone, and a shock mount that works and looks much nicer than the previous one! Very good deal!

This is a novel method to add a shock mount to a microphone that does not have it. It has a mount for adapting to ⅝ typical mic mount and an adapter from the mic mount to ¼. It does make for an interesting spacing challenge. It’s large and not quite as refined as an included shock mount on a microphone. I can use it on almost all microphones. The swivel is clocked which makes it confident when tight but it won’t let you find the perfect angle. This is a great option if your microphone isn’t round for other options of shock mounts.

Works as designed only down side is your not able to use the mute button on the top of the mic with it installed with out modifying the filter and making a hole Also has a very strong chemical smell so I recommend letting it air out once removed from package before use close up to your face as the smell can be overbearing

Very hard, tight for the microphone, hard to install, feels of poor quality, and there is a mark on the product that has not been removed after two days

it worked fine but if you are using it with an Elgado Wave 3, you will need to cut off the top, and install it upside down if you want to keep the use of your mute button

This is too tall for the Wave 3 to be able to also have access to the mute button.

The foam at the top covers the mute button on top of the Wave:3 microphone, making it impossible to use the hardware mute function.I worked around this by cutting the foam at the top, but that obviously means you can't return it if you don't like how it sounds.
