These are thinner and more breathable than some gloves I have used—also, one of the few brands on Amazon that goes to size XXXL. They don't get too hot but do still protect from sharps and other hazards. They enhance handling of some more slippery surfaces; large cardboard cartons, for example, are far more manageable when wearing these, IMHO.
