If they are a pain to set, are you able to save more than one program for repeated use?** A: You can save two, one manual and one auto. The manual allows you to pick the amount of time you want each color lit up for and the auto allows you to choose the total time and splits that in three equal chunks for the time. At first I was a little disappointed with the fact that every time I need a different amount of time, I have to reset it, but after a week of using it I've gotten used to doing it and can do it quite quickly. When you reset it, the timer is already at the time I had previously set it for so I found that it's quite easy to reset and doesn't take much time at all. I love it and my students do too! **Q: I would like to use this to help my son understand that he can't get out of bed at 4:30am. Can it be set for long periods, like 9pm to 6am?** A: I don't think so. It's not that easy to set up. You set it for, say, 1 hour and then you either have to tell it how time to show red, how much time to show yellow and when to turn green. Or you set it for an hour on manual and it divides the time up for you, like 80% red, 19% yellow and then green. I think an easier thing to do would be to buy a regular analog clock and color the hours that he has to stay in bed. Or mark directly on the clock the exact time that he is allowed to get up. **Q: Does this have a pause button, or a way to pause the time?** A: Yes. Press arrows at the same time to pause. Then you presss start to resume. My students love this timer when they are taking their timed math tests. Is there a minimum amount of time the timer needs to be set for?** A: There's no minimum amount of time it needs to be set for, but in my opinion this would be the wrong timer for doing 30 second intervals. It needs to be set each time; you can't set it to go off 5 times, with a 30-second total duration for each time. This is a very simple timer. It sounds like you might be needing something a bit more complex if you are wanting to set multiple timers to go off every 30 seconds. Die Zeiten sind variabel und von kurzer Dauer (1 Min) bis zu 23:59 Std. einstellbar. Der Timer lässt sich leicht bedienen. Wie bei einer Ampel visualisiert der Timer den Zeitablauf. In der Auto- Timer Einstellung teilt er selbst die Zeiten zu in welcher er von grün auf Orange und von Orange auf rot umschaltet. Zusätzlich lässt sich ein Signal abspielen oder ausschalten (Ton ausdrehen).
