Godox AK-R11 Diffuser Dome for Godox V1 V1pro V100 Round Head Flash for Godox AD100Pro / H200R

I bought this to go on my a2 light. It is not rated for the profoto, , but their branded accessories are crazy expensive. And honestly for as much as you pay for their accessories, the magnets should stay on and they don't. Literally the wind blows wrong and the profoto accessories pop right off and roll away. It's literally like just throwing 20s out the window as you go. So, while shooting a wedding with a friend of mine who uses the Godox AD pro 100, which is exactly like the profoto A2, I grabbed her diffuser dome and to my surprise found it fit perfectly. Needless to say I went ahead and bought one. I also bought the round head filter holder. It doesn't fit quite as well, but it does work. So I like being able to save money, especially when the name brand accessories don't live up to the quality that the actual lights do.

I'm using this some on the Godox V100 and works as I expected without issue. It is of good quality and is light weight. Diffusion is still minimal like any diffusion of a small size, but it's enough to help take some of the edge of while bouncing the light.

The material is thick and the four magnets seem strong. So luckily, my Godox V100 I purchased recently came with a metal ring that replaces the red plastic ring which came as a bonus. Since this diffuser rely on the four screws for the plastic ring, it stays on but I feel if you move around enough with it, it may come off. If you're a wedding photographer or anyone that's using the speed light on the go, I highly recommend getting the metal ring (around $10). The metal ring makes it actually harder to take off which isn't a bad thing IMO.I've dropped it twice on the concrete floor and has not cracked. Assuming, it's either a durable acrylic if not a polycarbonate material.The diffusion itself, it's softens the center lighting it seems. I've already used it during the day on TTL during our family reunion with 20 people lined up at 28mm and the light seems to scatter softly really well. Sure, it won't be as soft as a softbox but I'm very happy with the results overall. I'll have to take some actual photos of the light pattern on a wall and post that sometime...

I am a professional photographer and this Godox flash is my main on camera flash. It does all the things I need it to do. This diffusor works incredibly awesome but it does get knocked off the flash fairly easily. It's embarrassing to be in church for a wedding and the plastic difussor bounces off the floor because you barely grazed the flash on a pew while walking around. :)***this diffuser works perfectly for the flash! I just wish the magnets were a little stronger.

Just to clarify, this is not a diffuser and won’t soften your light. Instead, it helps spread the light more evenly, especially when there’s a ceiling to bounce it off.
