This was done on purpose to keep the element of surprise and ensure you have the best gender reveal ever :) The family you will send the cannons to will never know the gender (or the color) of the cannons, unless they choose to scan the QR code on the insert card included which reveals the secret color identifier.

Unfortunately, air-compressed cannons are non-returnable items as per Amazon's policy.

If this was a surprise for someone would you be able to tell the color from the package? I am trying to mail them to my sister in another state.

Pretty Good. Sent the correct color . No leaking or exposed powder. Great secretive packing/labeling , the color could not be known unless you scanned the QR code on the box, and so we just disposed of the boxes immediately to prevent anyone from getting nosy 😂. Great purchase!

I bought these for my sister’s gender reveal (she picked them out). I saw reviews saying they were difficult to twist so I told both of them to twist really hard just in case. My sister couldn’t get hers to twist so only one went off when they counted down. Even my brother-in-law had a hard time twisting it when she handed it to him after, and he’s a strong guy.
