Perfect!
I got this for my wife so she could shoot with my son and I. She is a natural! She loves it! The bow performs perfectly as designed just remember that the bow and arrow have to match one another. If they don't, then hitting the mark consistently will suffer. The transaction with the seller and Amazon was flawless. Delivery was prompt. If you are looking for a great entry level bow, this is a good one. My son will be out of his Bear Goblin youth bow before long and this will fill his hands for the next few years. By that time, my wife will have graduated to something more intricate I am sure. Thanks for a great experience.

Good for traditional begineers
This bow is really good for starters in traditional archery or just for fun. It can shoot accurately and it is very durable. It can slap your arm so use protection, it will pack a punch. Another bad thing is the string it comes with doesn't seem to fit it well, you may have to twist the string a few times in order for it to stay on the ends.

Muscle Builder
Very nice Bow. I shoot a #45 bow ,Long Bow.But when I don't shoot for a while because of work. I build my arm muscles back again with this bow. Very well made and worth the money. I recommend this bow to all Archers. The seller is great and fast delivery.

Fiberglass practice bow
This is just what I wanted. A bow that was NOT a compound bow. A previous reviewer said that it was just like the bow he remembered practicing with in high school, and I would confirm that. I had one just like it when I was in high school that I bought from the Boy Scout store and spent many enjoyable hours shooting into hay bales in the back yard. Strangely, it seems you can't get bows like this any more at sporting goods stores or the Boy Scouts-- the only bows of similar draw weight seem to be compound bows. This one draws well and is fun for my fourteen year old, as well as me.

It feels and sounds like it's going to break. The crack is not reassuring.
Check out the photos of the bow I bought through Amazon which I received today. The last thing you want to hear when you draw back your bow string is: you know when you have a whole pack of spaghetti noodles and you sometimes break it in half to fit in the pot better? It's the sound of a bunch of little sticks breaking fast one after another. That's pretty close to how my bow sounded. I unstrung it, and found a crack. Then I restrung it to see if the crack looked any worse under tension. And a big chip flaked off the bow!I can't believe it.The other reviews all looked okay so I had high expectations but this bow was junk right out of the box. Highly disappointing.I'm going to return the bow and then seek out a brick and mortar archery store. For less than $100 I wasn't expecting world-class equipment, but I should have received a simple, basic, usable bow.Now I have to go through all the hassle of returning this thing.Don't buy this!

Additional Shipping Charges Inflate Price
When I paid for this item I was under the impression my payment for shipping and handling would mean the product would be delivered to me without issue. However, I was mistaken. Upon delivery the carrier told me I would have to pay over 100 dollars in additional fees prior to receiving the items. I decided this was unfair and have yet to pay. Hopefully, the company does the right thing and handles these charges or accepts my return.

Draw weight?
Its supposed to be 30 pounds but it is actually 25. SO yeah if your an adult buying this bow it is actually 20-25 pounds in draw weight and a 30 inch draw length. Not a great buy if you ask me, i would rather have 45 lbs. Its not legal to hunt with and does not have a sight pin or anything, So aiming is instinctive just like a slingshot, i did hunt a rabbit with it but i missed it. so now i pretty much just dont use it...Now if you do buy it anyway, dont buy a Arm protector or ARM GUARD. It wont slap your arm if you bend your elbow when shooting, and you can get a good deal for arrows at,[...].com so that you dont pay an arm and a leg on amazon. Broadheads should be used for hunting only, if you want something for practice amazon provides FIELD points for low prices, they are specifically designed for Target shooting and Practice. Now, if you buy Field points and Broadheads which are both good deals on amazon, Make sure they are the same Grain, For example, if you bought 125 grain broadhead, try to find 125 grain field points, because the higher the grain the greater the arrow drops in flight and the higher you need to arch your shot. Instinctivley shooting requires you to understand your arrows flight rather than using sights tht does it for you. SO in other words dont buy 100 grain field points, with 150 grain broadheads, because youll be shooting both seperately and that will require learning each ones flight seperately, rather buy both the same grain so that you wont have to shoot your broadheads in order to learn how they fly when you can understand their flight by using the field points and just save the broadheads for hunting. The pros of the bow is that 20lbs draw weight is the minimum weight required for killing medium sized game. so you can kill with this bow, just dont shoot a deer because not only is it illegal draw weight being too low, but youll probably just injure it only for it to bleed and die miles away from where it was shot, so dont do that. If you buy it for archery's sake, then it is a very good deal, but i would definately prefer 40lbs draw because the higher weight the draw, the straighter the arrow flies for longer. ;-) yall be sure to enjoy yourselves and come back now ya here?

Good for target practice, nostalgic
I bought two of these. One for my husband & one for myself. We use them for target practice. They remind us of the bows we used as teenagers. We love them. The strings did stretch out after some use, but we just gave them a few twists before re-stringing. They are just fun & nostalgic!
