Velocity sensitive. Compatible with Yamaha DTX400, DTX402, DTX500, DTX502, DTX700, DTX900M, DTXM12, DD65, DD75. Make sure you hold onto the plug, not the cable, when connecting or disconnecting the cable. Also, never place any heavy or sharp objects on the cable. Review: Works well with Roland HPD-15 - This pedal is a reliable trigger for my Roland Handsonic HPD-15, in fact I'm using two of them for Triggers 1 and 2. For my playing style it's not important that the pedal have high spring resistance or inertia like a pedal with a beater, so the low spring tension design is fine for me, even preferred now... it's more like a velocity-sensitive switch. The action is plenty fast enough for quick double strokes, especially once you get used to it. A setting of trigger type K-2 with a sensitivity setting of 12 on a linear curve works perfectly, and gives a good, full range of response. This pedal is also very light and compact, making it easy to pack and carry. For me it's an ideal choice. Review: Worth the money. Best option for yamaha dd75 - I bought this for my Yamaha dd75. I am beginner drummer and this is my first kit. The pedals which came in the box with dd75 were just plain stupid. I looked up online and could find that this is the promised one to buy with an electric kit. Since I have very less experience of using other types of pedal, I can't say how better it is compared to others but this product is a high quality, well built and well designed product. It strong and heavy and comes with a really long cable which is really impressive. I haven't faced any issues using it. Concern- the only concern or question I got in my mine after using it was if the spring is supposed to be that thin or should it be offering more resistance and if should be bouncing back stronger. I found it comfortable but I felt the pedal getting back into it's original position is lil eased out and it should be somehow quick. Added the pedals which came included in dd75 ## Features - Velocity sensitive; For quiet practice - Compatible with Yamaha DTX400, DTX402, DTX500, DTX502, DTX700, DTX900M, DTXM12, DD65, DD75 - Make sure you hold onto the plug, not the cable, when connecting or disconnecting the cable. - Do not place any heavy or sharp objects on the cable. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00FI2PE1U | | Best Sellers Rank | #61,621 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #227 in Bass Drum Pedals | | Body Material | Brass | | Brand | YAMAHA | | Brand Name | YAMAHA | | Color | Silver,Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 278 Reviews | | Finish Type | Polished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00086792964843 | | Item Dimensions | 16.5 x 7.09 x 6.3 inches | | Item Type Name | electronic drum | | Item Weight | 0.27 g | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 16.5 x 7.09 x 6.3 inches | | Manufacturer | Yamaha PAC | | Material | Brass | | Model Name | KU100 | | Model Number | KU100 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | KU100 | | Sound Profile | Muted | | UPC | 086792964843 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 year manufacturer warranty yamaha corporation of america (yamaha) is proud of the experience and craftsmanship that goes into every product we represent. Most of these types are drum-centered modules. It does not require a drum kit, but needs an electronic sound module plus an amplification system of some kind, or headphones, to hear it. This pedal does not send a Midi signal. **Q: Will it work with Alesis drum pad?** A: As far as I know, a beaterless, silent kick pedal like the KU 100 doesn't require a drum pad. -If it's striking against an Alesis drum pad...it wouldn't be silent! so if you meant "will it work with Alesis drum MACHINE" -I'm not 100 % sure it will work with an Alesis, but I bet it will. My friend used the Yamaha KP65 kick pad on his Alesis with no issues, so if that KP65 works on yours, then I'm guessing the KU100 will also - I've checked youtube videos for compatibility before, they can be so helpful! -good luck, I hope you get it going! -peace. **Q: Could you use 2 of these using a splitter?** A: Probably. It's passive, so that should work. But this pedal is terrible and no one should waste their money on it. **Q: will this work with a SoundX model??** A: It's just a trigger, so it should work. But it should also be better in general. If you're looking for a good kick trigger, this is not it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well with Roland HPD-15 *by S***R on June 6, 2017* This pedal is a reliable trigger for my Roland Handsonic HPD-15, in fact I'm using two of them for Triggers 1 and 2. I ordered the KU100 and performed a side-by-side comparison with the Yamaha KU100 and the performance of the KU100 was just as good as the KT-9 and less that 1/2 the price. Maybe the KT-10 is a better performer? The KU100 worked seamlessly with my Roland Handsonic 10 and it is very quiet. ## Frequently Bought Together - Yamaha KU100 Beaterless Silent Kick Pedal - Alesis SamplePad Pro - 8-Pad Percussion and Sample-Triggering Instrument With Rubber Pads, Active Blue LED Illumination, Expansion Options for 2 Additional Triggers and 200+ Built-in Sounds - Gibraltar 6713E Spezial-Stander Multiklammer Professional Series,Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/2711423-yamaha-ku100-beaterless-silent-kick-pedal](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/2711423-yamaha-ku100-beaterless-silent-kick-pedal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
