Seven Sparta Off-Road Base Stand & Handle Keeper (Red Base & Handle Keeper)

One of the few times an off-brand is better than the name brand. Works perfectly with the Hi-Lift and is very wide. Lots of support. Hasn't shown any wear after using this to help pull up numerous t-posts.

The Base Stand & Handle Keeper are great. My Hi-Lift Jack HL-485 48" All-Cast Jack fits inside . there is a 1/4 play on all sides of the plate. Very stable. The plate on the jack itself is only 4x7. The base makes it way more stable. I use this on 5 acres to remove old stumps. Rubber Handle keeper holds handle in place. I have this mounted on the back of my tractor.

This is a must have for going off-roading! For one, the handle keep is something I really needed, and the base stand fit my HL-484 perfectly.

Works great

I give this a 4 out of 5 because the HyLift Jack I have did not seem to want to stay in the Sparta base very well as the jack only sits say 1/2 into the 2 inch thick base. Farm jacks tend to want to tip unless what you are lifting is right above the lifting foot. So I needed to pull out a fence post and my yard was soft and muddy from the rain. I bought this to keep the Jack from sinking into the ground. But since I could not lift strait up I had to move the jack over, the Sparta base also required me to move it another say 2" out of the way. Since the Sparta base has a very shallow hole for the jack (Say 1/2") the jack as it tipped then would also twist out of the way. So for my use of pulling fence posts, I found that the Sparta base was a hinderance and not a help. I can see how if the ground was say muddy perhaps the Sparta base would be a must. My recommendation to the vendor is two fold - 1) Perhaps make it so one can add a couple of straps to keep the farm jack base in the Sparta Base. 2) Make the Sparta Base so the farm jack sits down say 3-4 inches in the Sparta Base. (Make the base thicker or make the walls around the edge taller.)

I’ll be ready for my next adventure and Jack need! I have never been happy with the small base size of my Hi-Lift UTV jack and with Rocky, Sandy and snowy trail conditions in Utah, this base will solve many technical jacking problems.

The best stable and everything

Got to use with my HiLift jack, good value and seems solid. As other people have said, The footprint cutout for the jack base is a little large for the HiLift, but this doesn’t compromise usage, and allows for other jack models to fit. (Think factory bottle jack!) Would recommend
