Perfect! I love that I can set when it comes on and of. I love that it gradually comes on and goes off, just like the sun. I love that I can determine how much red/blue and white light is used. I love that it stays in the memory even if the power goes out for hours. I'm really half with this purchase. The only thing I am not loving is the way it attaches to the glass, but it's a minor dislike, nothing that would prevent me from recommending it. My plants are doing great under it as well

I had the older model of this light for about two years and recently decided to spring for the new one. The price didn't increase dramatically at all, but it gained the timer and day/night cycle features. The old light still works, too, but I love that this new model doesn't require a separate timer. I keep shrimp in a 6-gallon cube, so the slow ramp up in brightness is great for minimizing spooking. I also really like that I can customize the blue-ness and brightness of the twilight lighting, since I'm not a huge fan of some lights' bright blue moonlight. You can do the same for the daylight lighting, but I left that alone for my live plants. So far this light keeps time very accurately and has been a great set-it-and-forget-it addition to my many tank lights. It's a great deal for the price, in my opinion.

Have had this light for some time now on my 6gal Cube Aquarium. Has kept my plants looking great, healthy, and growing. Very pleased with this nano light worth every penny.

04/24/2023: UPDATE! Just received my 2nd light and it works perfectly. I am so happy! I included a photo of my phone light vs the aquarium light to show how bright it is. Its perfect for my planted guppy tank. It’s small/compact, but bright/powerful and can lay directly on the tank lid or it can be clipped on the side/back. The clip is a little snug around the black plastic trim rim of my 10 gallon tank. I would say that for me this was definitely worth the price and very affordable in comparison to some bigger name brands. Also very fast delivery! This 2nd light is a 5/5, but I’m still giving a 4/5 just because my 1st light didn’t work and I have to return it. 04/22/2023: I’m sad to say that straight out of the box, it didn’t work at all. It’s like it’s getting no power at all. I tried holding the buttons down like the instructions say, that did not work. I pushed all the buttons, nothing. I will be sending this back and purchasing a second one. My sister has this same light on her 30 gallon planted aquarium and it has worked extremely well. Her plants and guppies thrive. I am hoping to achieve the same thing with my own planted guppy tank so I really want this light to work for me, it’s extremely affordable. *IF/WHEN* it works, it’s definitely worth the price when compared to some of the bigger name brands. I will write another review or an update on this one when I receive my second light.

This little light was exactly what I was looking for. It's been running great for a few months now, so I wanted to review it. I have it on an aqueon 6 gallon frameless cube, and for those dimensions (about 12") it's perfect. Plants are growing great, not too much light as to cause algae outbreak. I have some floating plants that diffuse it a bit. I run it on 100% for most of the day. The controller was easy to program following the included instructions. I love the sunrise and sunset feature. No timer needed was my big purchasing factor. You can't beat the price on this for what it does. If you have a planted nano tank, this is what you want! I'll be getting a second for my next tank. I run a nicrew filter on this as well and it works great!

This light is fantastic. It clips on easily and the programming is pretty intuitive. I love that I can set the times of the day for it to turn on and off, as well as the percentage of white or blue light for day or night. Much better than other timer lights I've purchased in the past.

This aquarium light is absolutely garbage. I would not recommend ANYONE purchase this. At first, I was impressed with the brightness and the easy timer function but ......after only 2 months of operation, the unit malfunctioned !! The light is not sealed properly and WILL take water inside the so called " sealed " area. This light was never dropped in the aquarium or abused in any way. It was set up according to the included instructions. This is the second light I've purchased from this seller because the first one did the same thing . I just thought it was a faulty unit. Unfortunately the window of opportunity closed to return it for a refund after the unit malfunctioned. The same happened to this unit as well so now I'm out 30 dollars I guess. I would highly recommend reading reviews and purchasing a higher quality aquarium light.

I have of them now on a 3 gallon , 11 gallon. Long and 2 10 gallon. They grow plant well.

This is a great light to have around for aquarium, plants, or just growing some micro-greens. Has auto timer and easy to attach to glass.
