I did tighten them a little too tight the first time I screwed them on. I eased up the screws a little and the sticks were fine. The tools this kit came with were great for getting the covers off, a pry tool and guitar pick. Installation was fairly easy. The toughest part was prying the back covers off. Also there is a hidden screw under the batteries. Xbox covered it with a label. It’s right in the center of that label, feel around and you can find a hole, I used the screwdriver to pierce through the label to get to the fifth screw to remove the front cover. I bought the light blue sticks with the grey pads to match my controller and the colors were a perfect match. My joysticks are working great and I would buy this product again!
