Amazon Basics Coffee Makers, 12-Cup Coffee Machines with Reusable Filter, Coffee Pots, Black & Stainless Steel

I told my husband I wanted a new coffee maker around Christmas and he bought a fancy machine and now complains at how much it costs to buy the pods for it. I just want to brew my Folgers so when I saw this little machine, I knew it would be perfect for me. It says it's 5 cups but I don't know who is drinking those tiny little cuppy things but this makes like 2 decent mugs of coffee for me and it perfect. The only leaks I have found is when I accidentally put too much water then it spills out the back. I can't dock any points for the leaks when I'm pouring the coffee because that's totally user error but if you pour too fast it does dribble down the front of the craft. It's light, brews quickly, and fits nicely in the little corner of my counter.

This little guy is a great product to have, When I first put my hand in the carafe to clean, it had a piece of sharp plastic where the handle meets the lid, but I sanded it down with an emery board, did the job perfectly. The coffee pot is easy to clean, meets my daily 2 cup limit, and more if you want. I like the simplicity of it and the fact that the coffee warmer keeps it hot while you cook your meal. I highly recommend this small but powerful coffee pot. Be nice to it, the glass carafe is delicate.

I am a morning coffee drinker, and this coffee pot meets all my needs. Simple to operate, with no bells or whistles. Put coffee in the basket, water in the tank, turn on the switch, coffee drips into carafe. Coffee stays hot during my 2 or 3 cups. Must remember to turn switch off, and the lack of an automatic cut off reduces my rating to 4 stars. But, overall it is a good, simple 4 stars coffee pot, and the price was right.

This is a bare bones, no frills coffee maker, but that's exactly what I wanted. I don't need to be able to program it to make coffee at a specific time, I just want to push the button, and have coffee brewing. . . . . this coffee maker does exactly that, no frills service, for a no frills price! Great buy!

I received this pot washed it and started using it the next day.Just the right size for one, or possibly two.It’s a 5 cup maker.Keeps the coffee warm for as long as you like.Ease of use, brew time, functionality and durability.

Just a good basic little coffee pot.

It makes coffee.1) the power switch is on the side and requires a force to toggle the switch that is exceeds the force needed to move the fully loaded coffee maker across the counter. The switch should be mounted so the force applied is downward thus the coffee maker wouldn't move.2) The handle of the pot is hollow, which gives it strength for the material used. It also collects water if mounted upside down in the dishwasher. I a short time you will be trained to turn it right side up so the water stays in the dishwasher.3) the impatient plug (so you can pour coffee before the brew is finished) is too stiff or the inner assembly doesn't always seat properly, and sometimes doesn't open when the pot is in place. This results in the coffee flowing back into the water reservoir of the coffee maker and not the pot.4) heat pad keeps coffee at the brew temperature and doesn't lower, resulting in toasted coffee if you don't switch off when it finishes brewing. I was spoiled by my old coffee maker which had a lower temperature.Not a bad buy. We all have our faults.

This coffee maker is what it says it is -- a very basic model. It seems a little "flimsy', but brews a good pot of hot, good tasting coffee quickly. It is easy to clean and use. My fault for realizing it when I ordered, but it does not have automatic shut off. I set a cell timer to remind me so I don't leave the house with it on. I will not return it, but this does concern me. I will not buy this model again only for this reason.
